Co-Founder & CEO of Distiller. Distiller was created to bridge the gap between the booming spirits industry and the new generation of emerging appreciators of fine spirits and craft culture. Mikael began his career in the entertainment industry, working with musical artists and filmmakers, managing digital marketing campaigns and strategy. As a growing appreciator of whiskey and craft spirits he recognized a need for technological innovation in the spirits industry and set to work on Distiller with co-founder Brent Stiefel with the goal of democratizing knowledge of spirits, lowering the barrier to entry into spirits appreciation, and facilitating ease of discovery.

John Harkins is a CFO at Votiv, Director at Richlite Co., and CFO at Distiller and is based in Tacoma, Washington. He has worked as Associate Analyst & Assistant Trader at SUMMIT CAPITAL GROUP LLC, Financial Analyst Intern at CSM Pacific/Aiolian LLC, and Associate Accountant at KPMG US. John studied at University of Notre Dame between 1996 and 2000, University of Notre Dame between 2000 and 2001, and University of Washington Foster School of Business between 2008 and 2010.
