What You Will Do - Essential Functions

As an MDS Communication Specialist you will:
* Receive in-depth training.
* Be assigned to one of four MDS "Teams" that calls on behalf of a set of MDS clients.
* Call for 4-8 different clients over the course of an 8 hour day, using predictive dialing equipment. We typically handle about 16-24 completed calls per hour with an average of about 20 - 30 seconds between calls.
* Communicate with donors and prospective donors in a positive, engaging and enthusiastic manner using a carefully crafted script that is approved by our clients.
* Secure financial gifts from donors and prospective donors on behalf of our clients.
* Maintain minimum fundraising and productivity metrics.
Successful applicants will bring:
* 1 year or more of successful outbound telemarketing experience or a strong general employment record with long term stability
* Basic computer skills.
* A commitment and enthusiasm to the charitable and non-profit causes we represent.

Kelly Services is searching for Customer Service/Call Center Representatives to work at one of our TOP CLIENTS in Kettering!
These are call center roles and experience in a call center is preferred but we will consider general customer service experience as long as you can communicate effectively and have pleasant, professional phone manner.
One must also be willing to and able to handle customer inquiries and escalations on credit card accounts.
This position is seasonal (6-7 weeks or longer) and the pay is $11.75/hour. Please note: THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL WORK AT HOME OPPORTUNITY! You are required to commute to Kettering daily.
Interested candidates must be able to train on 1st shift (9am-6pm) for 1 week and be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift as you will not be assigned a schedule until after the 1st week of training is completed.
You must also be willing to work 1 weekend day and holidays if there's a business need.
