Evaluating competitive environment and working with Operations and Merchandising teams to ensure quality and performance. PAPERWORK: Train on daily, weekly, and monthly processing of required paperwork including but not limited to invoices, schedules, product orders and returns, and POs reports. Train to do periodic sales forecasting, payroll analysis and budget review. Train on documentation of team member evaluations and corrective action. INVENTORY: Train on managing periodic price changes. Train on communicating inventory needs to buyers and distribution centers. Learn how to work with the buyers, supply chain management, district managers, and distribution centers to solve inventory problems. SPECIAL PROJECTS: Learn how to coordinate and conduct special sales events. Train to assist District Manager and other Store Managers in solving district issues and support operational needs. Community involvement. TEAM MEMBER RELATIONS: Set the tone for and reinforce the mission and values of Tractor Supply Company and consistently develop the store as the “Employer of Choice”. BUDGET/AUDITING Train to be responsible for budgeting and sales forecasting. Learn how to be responsible for auditing store processes. Required Qualifications Experience: Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Education: High school diploma, Bachelor's degree in Agricultural-Science or Business related field preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Must have valid driver's license if you drive for company business. Process information and merchandise through system and POS Register system. Read, write, and count to accurately complete all documentation. Freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, side lot, stock area, and register area. Operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store such as a dolly, hand-truck, forklift, computer, and cash register. Move and transfer merchandise generally weighing 0-50 lbs. throughout the store. Work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates, plus six days a week during peak seasons in the spring and fall. Work a minimum of 52 hours per week. Stand and walk for long periods of time often up to four hours straight without a break. Travel to other store locations and to company functions. The Superintendent is responsible for implementing Board policy, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, and promoting a high standard of educational excellence across all district schools in Moorcroft, Sundance, and Hulett, WY. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS The Superintendent reports directly to the Crook County School District #1 Board of Trustees. Serves as the district's representative in legal and contractual matters as authorized by the Board. * Ensures effective communication among all district schools, the central office, and the community. * Visits all schools on a regular basis. * Performs other duties as assigned by the Board of Trustees. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * A Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration or a related field is preferred. * Superintendent certification or endorsement is desirable, but not required to be employed as Superintendent in Wyoming. * Proven experience in educational administration or leadership preferred (e.g., five years or more). * Strong evidence of leadership, strategic planning, and operational management capabilities. JOB TITLE: Business Manager JOB PURPOSE: Manage the business operations of areas within the Division of Student Affairs. Responsible for working with a team of support staff to ensure all financial and human resource functions are appropriate, consistent and in line with current policies and procedures.
