POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Due to its continued growth, DGOC is looking for an entry-level Landman to support its corporate land operations. The corporate Landman will report to the Vice President - Land Administration. The role will focus primarily on all areas of land administration, including data gathering and review, pre and post-closing related activities, creation and maintaining of tracking spreadsheets and databases, and integration of acquired data into existing corporate procedures and process. This role will sit in Canton, Ohio. Special focus will be placed on: * Member of Land team providing support to Land Admin, Land Ops, Legal and Business Development teams on major acquisitions. * Ensuring appropriate communications and paperwork are submitted to Management * Obtaining and recording documents from courthouses * Supporting acquisition due diligence and records assimilation * Supporting Land Admin team as directed by the VP-Land Administration POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Land or Business or related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Zero to 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas Land Work * Oil and Gas Land field experience with a production company beneficial * Effective written and oral communications skills * Demeanor that will project a positive image for the Company * Ability to work independently with some guidance * Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Access and Excel), PDF, and GIS * Member of MLBC or AAPL preferred * Ohio notary required Office Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: * Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
