The Municipal services Division (MSD) provides “Owner Representative” services to the Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) which is GSG's largest client. The FGUA is a single-purpose government providing water/wastewater service to over 120,000 connections in 14 counties. The FGUA has a $100 million annual operating budget with a $160 million five-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The FGUA has no employees and contracts out for all services. GSG has served as the FGUA System Manager since its inception in 1999. The Assistant Division Director will assist the Division Director in executing all policies and directions provided by the FGUA Board.

The successful candidate will have a well-defined, funded research focus and will be able to provide leadership and growth of the research program with the division along with oversight of the education and clinical programs directed by other appointed division members. The affiliated health system (M Health Fairview) has five academic, clinical MFM AIUM-certified ultrasound units and consultation sites including a hub site with a Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Perinatal Assessment Center, Ultrasound Center and large Genetic Counseling supporting unit. There is an established MFM fellowship program. These programs are led by current MFM division members that would report to the new Division Director. There are nine M Health Fairview Hospitals with Labor and Delivery Units that account for over 13,000 deliveries annually within the health system.
We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced (assistant, associate or full) professor to lead the Division. The Director will provide input into the overall strategic development and planning of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology while having significant protected time (50% or more depending on funding) to continue their own research and develop and mentor the division's research program. Will largely be responsible for supporting the recruitment, development and mentoring of research-oriented faculty and responsible for the oversight and analysis of the finances for the Division.
