Job DescriptionNesco Resource is looking for Receiving Dock Operator associates for our long-term client in Auburn Hills, MI. 1st shift is 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and Fridays 5 AM to 9 AM.

The position is primarily responsible for moving raw materials coming into the facility to their proper location in the Production department. This position will be cross-trained between Materials, Quality and Operations to assist where needed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Previously forklift experience is required. Have familiarity with scanning equipment Stand on concrete floor and work in cold, heat, or humidity for long periods of time Crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting Team-work oriented attitude

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Keeps work area neat and orderly. Understands and follows all quality instructions, work instructions, and procedures. Accurately and legibly records information on quality and production-related paperwork. Understands and properly uses all safety devices and equipment at all times. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

+ operating Powered Industrial Trucks

+ accurately loading and securing pallets of outbound product for safe transportation

+ ensuring all pallets and totes are accurately accounted for on the correct trailer per the load sheets for delivery to retail

+ loading special orders and credits/outs and merging with the correct load

+ communicating load close information to shipping office associates

Temperatures could range from 20 degrees below to zero (Frozen Food), 28 degrees to 35 degrees Fahrenheit (Boxed Meat/Dairy), or 35 degrees to 55 degrees Fahrenheit while working in a wet environment (Produce) for an extended period of time. + Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00AM).

+ Weekend premium pay: $2 per hour weekend premium pay is available

+ Freezer differential: A $.50 per hour freezer differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled in the Frozen Food freezer.

**Year End Bonus:**

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
