What Does A Dock Supervisor Do At Keystone Foods

* Manages the scheduling of daily activities for shipments and receiving.
* Coordinates the dock activities for material handlers and general clerks.
* Manages material handling equipment.
* Schedule repairs and monitor forklift inspections.
* Communicates with production and Huntsville personnel to establish meat usage for production needs and resolve problems in shipping and receiving.
* Prepare daily and weekly reports for operations and inventories.
* Monitor finished product rotation with special emphasis on test and coordinate cold storage activities.

* Supervise and observe the loading of trucks to determine conformance to loading patterns to prevent damage to freight during transit and that the safe operation of the truck will not be jeopardized.
