Position Overview
Full-time, hospital-employed hybrid neurology position
Provide consultative neurological care for hospitalized patients
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency department physicians
Support acute stroke alerts and participate in stroke care protocols
Opportunity to assist in development of neurology service lines and tele-neurology partnership.
Qualifications
MD/DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligibility for medical licensure in Georgia
Stroke experience or vascular neurology training is a plus

Summary:
This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. The position reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist and a diagnosis is made.

Performs various ultrasound examinations. Subjectively interprets information based on judgmental decisions by Ultrasonographers, requiring in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathology. Maintains complete knowledge of wave form physics, i.e., , time gain compensation curves, attenuation factors, etc. , required to set equipment variable properly for appropriate imaging of specific anatomy. Assists Radiologists with performance of invasive procedures.

Independently evaluates normal vs. abnormal test results in correlation with patient history, previous examinations, lab results, etc.

Independently gives preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians, surgeons, residents, etc. regarding any vascular ultrasound procedures as determined by site accreditation.

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time registered Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology department. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital and requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases. Call is rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department.
Delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters.
Responsibilities And Duties:

Administers Radiation Therapy treatments on a daily basis.

Maintains daily record of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages and calculations and other necessary treatment records.

The NIR Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Neurologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.
Shifts for this position begin at 7a with a shift of (4)10hr or (5) 8hr work schedule. No weekend rotation, only call. Call is 1-2 nights/week & 2 out of 6 call weekends per 6-week schedule.

The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for coronary, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, sterile technique and knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department.
Requirements:
1. The Senior Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students.
2. Competent to scrub and circulate all coronary cases including complex PCI and brachytherapy; Ventricular assist devices (IABP, IMPELLA and ECMO); all peripheral vascular cases including venous procedures (IVC reconstruction) and all Structural Heart Procedures including aortic and mitral valves and ASD/PFO. Must rotate through all labs including the HVL at least twice a month.
3. Competent to float to Arrythmia Services and Hybrid Lab to assist with procedures.
4. Must be FT or PT rostered FTE
5. 1-3 years' experience in hospital CVL department
Arrhythmia (EP) Specific:
The Senior EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive, invasive, and structural heart procedures. The Senior Technologist must meet all requirements of the procedural job code: knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, sterile technique, and be knowledgeable of all inventory items and equipment in the department.
Requirements:
1. The Senior EP Lab Radiologic Technologist must be an active, effective preceptor for new associates and students.
2. Competent to scrub and circulate all complex ablations including afib and VT, laser lead extractions, and Structural Heart Procedures.
3. Competent to float to Hybrid Lab to assist with lead extraction procedures outside of our unit.
4. Must be FT or PT rostered FTE
5. 1-3 years' experience in hospital EP department
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:

Summary:
Cath Lab Specific:
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.
Arrhythmia (EP) Specific:
The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique.
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
Neuro Interventional Specific:
The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique.

Summary:
The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology.
They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. They maintain a high quality of care by reviewing charts and making sure all the required parameters and hard stops are in place. They participate in the Quality Review Meetings and address any quality concerns with the Radiation Therapy team. They are also involved in system meetings aimed to improve the quality of care at a system level.
When not working on administrative duties, the Lead Radiation Therapist will also be involved in treatments at the LINAC or coordinate the patient appointments at the SIM CT, depending on their rotation assignment.

Surgical Authorization Specialist Job Purpose: The Surgical Authorization Specialist is a member of the Surgical Auth Department who is responsible for verifying eligibility, obtaining insurance benefits, and ensuring pre-certification, authorization, and referral requirements are met prior to the delivery of outpatient and ancillary services. Summary:
This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Cath Lab Specific:
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique.
Arrhythmia (EP) Specific:
The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique.
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
Neuro Interventional Specific:
The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, cerebral angiogram coiling, avascular malformations, stroke interventions and sterile technique.

Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records.
