Bank of America document administrator job description

The primary objective of the Document Administrator ("DA") is to provide world-class service to our clients and business partners. The primary responsibility of the DA is to review loan documentation and endure that it complies with the Bank policies, procedures, and credit approval. The DA will facilitate closings with the client team, outside counsel, and Bank vendors to ensure lien perfection and timely loan funding. The DA is expected to work on deals with highly complex loan documentation, credit structures and sensitive clients.

The Document Administrator ("DA") will be responsible for managing a queue of deals that are assigned to the DA on a rotational basis. The assigned deals are reviewed to ensure compliance with the Banks due diligence and regulatory requirements, along with reviewing the loan documentation to ensure that it memorializes the terms provided in the credit approval and confirming that the proposed deal structure is feasible for the system of record.

The DA is accountable for the accuracy of loan documentation, timely delivery of documentation feedback, timely completion of required due diligence, and elimination of controllable rework that would delay the onboarding of the loan onto the system of record. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required since the DA is expected to interact with company vendors, internal and external legal counsel, credit and operational partners and our clients.
Required Skills:

* College Degree or equivalent experience with commercial credit

* Strong financial acumen - knowledge of loan products and documentation concepts

* Excellent communication skills both written and oral

* The ability to handle multiple tasks while balancing the need for both quality and efficiency in fast paced metric-centric environment is a necessity

* Ability to suggest approaches to meet Client needs rather than relying strictly on procedures

* Must be able to navigate and toggle through various computer systems and be comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
