Previously, he was Managing Director of Modem Media and also served as CEO at Telleo, Inc., CMO at NextCard, and a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He started his career at DRI/McGraw-Hill and Pacific Telesis. Springer holds an MBA from Harvard University and an AB in Mathematics and Economics from Occidental College.

Prior to Twitter, Cynthia was most recently a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the technology investment banking group. Cynthia began her career at Hambrecht & Quist. Cynthia's investment banking experience includes leading equity, debt, and/or M&A transactions for clients including: Admob, Amazon, eBay, Electronic Arts, Facebook, GoldenGate Software, Google, Hyperion Software, Infoblox, Intuit, LinkedIn, Netflix, Palo Alto Networks, Rational Software, ServiceNow, Splunk, VeriSign, Websense, Workday and Zappos.
