What you'll be challenged to do:
A TMC Shift Supervisor is responsible for Traffic Operations situational awareness, data entry and monitoring a designated region, district and roadway for normal and emergency conditions to identify incidents, coordinate response and update status for DOT and Consultant management in a 24/7/365 environment, using various software, CCTV and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Oversee and provide guidance to RTMC Operators in their communication, coordination and response with law enforcement, Florida Highway Patrol, Emergency Management, emergency response and incident management entities, FDOT personnel and others.
