We are looking for full-time Experienced bathers to join our high-energy, fun, and customer-friendly teams in our Greater LA locations.

What will you do?

• Learn! Our experienced trainers and management team work together to train you for success. We will teach you how to master all the skills required through our step-by-step and organized program.

• Grow! Upon reaching the stage of a Professional Bather, you are then eligible to be nominated to apply to our Grooming Apprenticeship, where you will begin the next stage of your journey. You'll not only learn the basics of Grooming 101 but dive into creative techniques such as Japanese styling, hand stripping, and more!

• Succeed! You'll feel proud to see the transformations in the dogs that you work on, and to know that they are leaving your care feeling happier (and better looking!) than when they walked in.

We have very competitive pay rates, and they would depend on which bathing level you test into during your skills test evaluation.

Full time and Part time available. $12.50 per hour

Shifts: 6 to 8 hours depending on the day and need. We will work around your school schedule. Must be available for weekends and holidays.
Do you LOVE dogs? A dog daycare attendant assists with animal care, heavy cleaning, bathing and play yard monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor up to 20 dogs in a play yard for several hours
• Maintaining a clean environment.

• Feeding, cleaning cabins, lifting heavy items.
• Heavy cleaning
• Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members.
• Maintaining a safe environment!
• Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times.
• Leadership skills a PLUS

Essential Skills

• Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality
• Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!
• MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years or older.
• Be able to lift at least 40-50 pounds
• Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift on concrete floors
• Be able to follow strict safety rules and protocols
• Be detail oriented
• This is a very physically demanding job!
• Not be deterred by loud noises all day

Reporting

• Camp Manager and Camp Assistant Manager

Availability

Hourly position. Camps are open 7 days/week, 6:00am - 7:30pm. Weekends and holidays are required. Time off granted with at least two weeks notice.

Starting wage is $12.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

A successful Scent Tech is a team player: perceptive, patient, empathetic to others, adaptable under stress, and a compassionate dog lover! Lastly, we are looking for someone flexible with their hours – willing to work as our bookings dictate & demand.

This Position Requires:

• Strength to lift up to 60 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to patiently interact with, bathe, and assess Dogs.
• Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
• Attendance is key as our dog parents depend on us being there.

Needing Strong Skills and Abilities:

• Effective communication with team members and dog parents (via written app)
• Attention to detail, Willingness to take the initiative & adapt when necessary
• Time-management
• Ability to self-critique; hold oneself to high standards of task delivery

What Will You Be Doing :

• Comb, brush, and de-mat dog’s fur to remove all tangles, knots, and mats, Blow Dry, Nail Clips are very common throughout the day
• Perform Intake & Outtake of all Dogs - engaging Dog Parents regarding their upcoming service and recommending changes for their next service & retail products.
• Perform E-scentials Service on all Dogs: Wash Dog’s Coat, Clean Ears, Brush Teeth, Express Glands, Towel Dry or Blow Dry dog’s coat, Clip & Grind Nails, Weigh Dog
• Complete an accurate S.C.E.N.T. check for every dog serviced with recommendations and wellness feedback to Dog Parents
• Escort dog to Lobby to reunite with Dog Parent

Marketing

• Potentially participate in Street Team Marketing Activities – handing out flyers &/or manning booths - at key local events to showcase the great service you provide.
• Advocate for all dogs in our care and in our community

Training & Development

• Start on a growth path to our Trimmer or Front Desk Manager
