Anderson Humane dog trainer job description
Mission-driven dog trainers are needed to help our adopters and the public get the best start on their new lives together. We are looking for a certified dog trainer with at least one year of experience teaching classes to the public.
As an Anderson Humane dog trainer, you will work with our recent adopters to provide valuable socialization, manners, and life skills to create a strong bond between our adopters and their companions.
A positive start bonding our puppies and their adopters allows us to solve problematic behaviors before they start, ultimately keeping puppies in their homes.
In our adult classes, you will work with our adopters and the public to create an environment where each family member thrives and grows closer together.
We offer continued growth experiences as you work with our Director of Behavior, Dr. Andy Salis. Expand your skills as you assist our internal dogs and cats in working through barriers to adoption. We will provide you with hands-on learning to take your training to the next level in a team environment.
We will adopt over 4000 animals this year. If you are tired of high-pressure, commission-based dog training, we have the opportunity for you!
