Responsibilities
The Restaurant Assistant assists in operating a clean, sanitary, and orderly restaurant to help maintain the smooth operation of guest service, each shift.
Completes opening and closing duties to insure guest readiness.
Greets and interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
Holds the door open for guests and assists/directs them.
Takes guest take-out orders.
Helps expedite food and drinks.
Packs and delivers to-go food.
Restocks service items, i.e., glasses, ice, condiments, etc.
Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a routine basis.
Works the service bar.
Restocks bar items for bartenders, i.e., glasses, ice.
Stocks and cleans beer cooler - including changing beer kegs.
Empties trash cans when needed.
Assists with pre-bussing and is responsible for cleaning, disinfect, rinse, sanitize all tables after the guest leaves.
Completes all assigned prep work.
Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
Cleans and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Washes dishes and insures overall restaurant cleanliness.
Qualifications
General
Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays, and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
Place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves.
Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of approximately six (6) hours in length.
Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
Transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
Lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight.
Work Environment
Work will be conducted in a restaurant environment including the kitchen.

The Equipment Engineer is a member of the Metrology and Instrument Support Team at the GIA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs routine maintenance and upgrades on a variety of complex analytical equipment and instrumentation. Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning laboratory equipment as necessary; coordinates activities with peers, managers, vendors and users to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. Improves and/or develops needed expertise to assist in the development and improvement of service processes. Works jointly with R&D team to improve existing or develop new instruments. Serves as interface between R&D teams and production teams. Responsible for maintaining inventory, service contracts and administrative records in a timely manner.
