I do not like corporate management. They are far too detached from stores and customers.

How would you improve Dollar General's culture?

Hours. One person per hour opened is not enough

How did you prepare for the Dollar General interview?

I dressed appropriately

How does your compensation at Dollar General compare to the industry average?

My pay is extremely lower than industry average. And I'm told I can not get raise because I have reached top.

What's the diversity at Dollar General like?

They are way too concerned with this, just raise pay and we can have better qualified candidates to choose from. Right now pay is so low. Hardly any applicants at all

What brings you the most joy at Dollar General?
