Dollar Tree promotes a culture of belonging and family.
I cannot think of anything that would deter me or any other candidate from joining the company.
Team building
There is frequent communication at all levels.
Encourage continued participation in team-building activities and promote opportunities for growth.
I displayed positivity and confidence in my experienced and skill levels.
I feel that it was very competitive.
The company promoted a very diverse culture, with no limits for opportunities.
I enjoy employee engagement, mentoring and continued growth opportunities.
I like my manager, I like stocking I'm fast and good at it!
I live in Washington State Enumlaw (King county) to be exact and almost every employee from dollar tree in other cities in whole state make more then we do
Nothing, they don't care about their employees, that's the truth, it's all about corporate greed.
Treat everyone better, know their worth
What compensation? I live in Washington State it's too expensive here, don't make quat, you don't give stockers enough hours and yet if it wasn't for us, no product would be put out and sales would drastically decrease
That I know how to do my job well.
Meeting new people, helping people and help them find things that they need
The way corporate deals with things
Always positive conversations with customers
Rude management
I love the hard working I did with the customers and for the people I helped
Its a fast pace environment
Cannot be hired on as full-time unless you are a manager, meaning you cannot get paid time off and will not get paid if you want to take some time off.
It is a pretty easy job
nothing
put me to work on brake, made me work more that i could manager screamed at me for asking for days off
nothing
Most of employees are nice. The customers are micr
Low pay and a lot of recovery, balloons and cash register duties. They only have one cashier on and the manager for register back up.
Break
Nice Manger..very patient
Little hours only part time and seasonal.
Stepping up to general manager
great team of peers to work with- love my boss
great 401k benefits; happy work environment
The opportunity to get working experience and working schedule
The other employees when I first start job did not like me, thankfully overtime we grew together as a team
flexible schedule and price reduction on items
Easy to catch on and be successful in the work place. Great for a first job and easy to be promoted to management positions.
401k Plan
I like working overnight cause It’s less stressful
My old boss he was mean and always wanted to argue about the littlest things
401k
Always busy, never boring
No work life balance, unrealistic expectations, poor upper management, HR doesn't help the employee
The people that shop there are always looking for bargains and I am excited to help them find what they need at the low price of 1dollar
They are constantly cutting hours. Even for management. I feel like they don’t appreciate the people who show up every day putting their all into the roles they play
the boss is nice
people were not nice
how to work with other and get along with people
They treat there employees with respect and that's a big thing, by doing that it helps make a happier work environment.
The pay could be a little g higher.
The Bonus they give the ft managers and assistant managers.
The customers are interesting
The managers have too much favoritism towards certain employees.
Helping others in finding what they need.
Amused by the immature attitudes of grown woman and the lengths they will go to, to hv friends call into survey line to make themselves look good. The problem they write as they speak so you know who's doing it positive or shoving someone under the bus.
District and regional manager don't do what they say, but they want that back room cleaned. Been waiting for shelving and a refrigerator and new office chair for over a year. Corporate does not put any faith in their managers, but they will put problem employees onto other manager because their afraid. Can't get a decent raise because it cuts into district mangers bonus. District manager is a numnut! God help us. CEO is a joke and doesn't care about employees. Just wants that dollar!
Perks your funny to even ask.
I was a temporary employee and the work was fairly easy. I did stocking and worked the register. I prefer stocking do to me being an introvert and was able to work efficiently with barely being bothered unless the front needed help.
The store is always dirty and management suck. The Managers didn't know who was supposed to work what hours and I applied to be a stocker mostly but I ended up on the register most of the time. Some days I would be ask to stay past then when I was suppose to due to people co workers not showing up. But I don't blame them.
My favorite perk was the openness when it came to breaks. Managers allowed breaks if you asked and actually needed it.
Meeting people in my community, especially the older ones who seem to appreciate my smile and courteousness.
There arent any cameras and people know it and they shoplift regularly. The pay is $8.50 an hour while other similar stores start at $10 or more. I've been there over a year and haven't had a raise yet. I'm told that I will be evaluated and given a raise possibly less than 10 cents. I work hard and I'm never late. It doesnt sound fair.
My fellow associates are pleasant and diverse. A gay man, a married lesbian, a manager who is the youngest person of the 7 people working there, and mixed races. We have interesting conversations and we all get along well and work well together.
