**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking an intern, preferably for the summer and early fall 2026, in the Corporate Nuclear NDE group located at Dominion Energy's Innsbrook Technical Center in Glen Allen, VA. The fall portion of this internship would involve approximately three to four weeks of hands-on refueling outage experience at one of our nuclear stations.
While this is the preferred timeframe for the internship, it is possible that alternate 2026 schedules may be accommodated if that schedule meets the mutual benefit of the intern and Dominion Energy.
**Position Overview**
The Corporate Nuclear Engineering NDE (Nondestructive Examination) group has responsibility for developing, maintaining, and implementing the fleet NDE Program to support the Dominion Energy nuclear plants in Virginia, Connecticut, and South Carolina. The fleet NDE Program provides a standardized method for establishing fleet NDE procedures, guidelines, processes, and direction to ensure a consistent approach for implementation of NDE at each site. The NDE Program includes NDE performed in support of ASME Section XI Preservice and Inservice Inspection, balance of plant (non-Section XI related), Flow Accelerated Corrosion, License Renewal, Subsequent License Renewal , engineering and maintenance requested examinations.
A intern in NDE would assist the corporate NDE staff perform nondestructive examinations of power plant welds, components, and equipment during normal plant operation and outage situations for the Dominion Energy nuclear fleet. Travel to nuclear stations within the fleet is required to provide NDE support as needed..
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**
The most qualified candidate would have the skills and knowledge to properly perform specific calibrations, specific tests, and be able to follow approved nondestructive testing procedures under the direct guidance or supervision of an NDE Level II or NDE Level III examiner. The most qualified candidate will have had some exposure to performing nondestructive examinations in the Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Ultrasonic (UT) NDE methods. The most qualified candidate would demonstrate a strong ability to rapidly grasp new technical concepts and work either independently or as a group to meet challenging goals. The most qualified candidate would demonstrate an ability to collaborate effectively with a team and would demonstrate strong communication skills.

3. GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Purpose of position:
Work in Maintenance Operations as a steam system technician for Miura customers and Representatives within the United States and surrounding territories. Service, start-up, inspect, repair, and optimize Miura's complete steam solutions. **Job Summary**
As a Mechanic Trainee, you will learn to perform maintenance on power station mechanical equipment. Successful candidates will perform overhauling and maintenance of major industrial equipment such as pumps, turbines and other rotating equipment. Overtime, planned and emergency, is required. You will be placed in a 42 month standardized skills development program at the appropriate rate of pay based upon your previous experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills and competencies. This position does not provide paid relocation assistance. Starting hourly pay is $24.61
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
+ 0 - 2+ years of experience in operating and maintaining major industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and turbines in an industrial environment (i.e. shipyard, military, paper mill, steel mill, power station or other heavy industry, working with hand tools, industrial tools, machining tools, rigging, scaffolding, forklifts, coarse and precision measurement tools, vendor manuals, etc.
+ Basic computer skills including keyboarding
+ Ability to work occasional planned and emergency overtime.
+ Strongly prefer: Journeyman craftsman experience and/or candidates who have power plant/power generation maintenance experience, power station operation experience, welding or machinist experience.

The Operations Department is offering a spring-summer internship at the CCMWA to perform a variety of engineering and operational tasks. This internship is an hourly, paid position that will average 8-40 hours per week. Duties will require a mix of office-based and field work. Candidates should be local to the Atlanta area with the availability to work in-office. Daily work hours can be adjusted to accommodate the candidate's schedule each week. Position Summary:
This position is an entry level position. The associate is required to participate in the Charleston Water System Training Program and must pass specific sessions by defined dates after date of hire. Once trained, the associate performs work involving the skilled duties of a Water Distribution System Operator.
Under limited supervision, performs installations, renewal and repairs to all sizes of water services. Performs maintenance, installations and repairs to fire hydrants, valves and different types and sizes of water mains. Performs bench and field test and repairs of water meters. Repairs and replaces meter boxes and vaults as well as valve box adjustments. Performs hydrant painting, hydrant flow tests, and miscellaneous preventive maintenance procedures. Assists in maintaining Water Distribution ISO Certification by following Water Distribution's Standard Operating Instructions.
Essential Functions:
Removes and/or replaces soil, water, materials and/or debris from work sites.
Loads and unloads equipment and materials from vehicles at work sites.
Operates jackhammers, compactors, pumps, and boring equipment.
Disassembles and removes damaged or worn pipes.
Assembles and installs new pipes.
Disassembles/assembles pipe and meter appurtenances in the installation and/or repair of meters, meter boxes/vaults and service lines.
Make repairs to meters up to 36” in size.
Field test meters 3” to 10”.
Performs routine tasks with hand tools (e.g. shovels, rakes, brooms, pipe wrenches, hammer and saws).
Performs PM inspections, testing, data collection, and general maintenance and repair of valves, fire hydrants, water mains, blow offs and sampling stations.
Operation of distribution and transmission valves to ensure proper position and operation.
Prepares reports.
Locate valves and water mains in the field using electronic detection equipment.
Follows up on deficiencies found to ensure repairs are made promptly and correctly.
Help to solve customer complaints and problems as well as those reported by local fire departments.
Responds to customer water quality concerns.
Responsible for maintaining equipment used i.e.; tapping machines, pumps, compactor, saws Backhoe or Bobcat.
Measures and cuts pipe according to specifications.
Make various taps 3/4” up to 10” onto water mains up to 36” in size using tapping machine.
Ability to complete work tickets, inventory supply requests and accident reports.
Drives utility vehicles that require a CDL.
Operates backhoes and bobcats.
Draws as-built diagrams for new installation or repairs
Complies with and maintains all safety procedures according to CWS and OSHA standards at all job sites and while traveling to and from job sites.
May be required to work during emergency conditions.
