You must be able prepare and serve meals on time. * Be flexible and able to make substitutions. * Pay close attention to station cleanliness and safety and be able to follow a daily cleaning and closing checklist. * Be able to wash dishes and leave your station the way you want it left for you. * Be consistent, on-time, reliable and pleasant. * Notify food service director of any malfunctioning kitchen equipment or appliances. * Visit with residents at each meal when available and ensure quality service. * Prepare food and coordinate food service for special events as requested. * Assist with other duties as assigned. * Experience in cooking for large groups * Certificate in food-preparation training preferred * Desire to work with senior adults
