Domino's Pizza offers a decent benefits package to its hourly employees that includes food discounts, retirement planning, and paid sick leave. There are differences, however, in the benefits available for hourly employees versus salary employees.

Hourly employees work at store locations and receive free meals at work. All employees are also given a discount that can range from 10% to 30%. Hourly workers do not receive health insurance, but do have access to a 401(k) plan and have a few days’ paid sick leave.

Domino's corporate employees have more benefits, including health insurance. Some of the additional benefits available to corporate and salary employees include:

  • Medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage

  • Flexible spending and health savings accounts (FSA/HSA)

  • Education assistance

  • Paid time off

  • Mental health coverage and family support

Domino’s Benefits for Store Employees

Because the majority of Domino’s locations are franchises (Domino’s itself owns only 400 stores), benefits and pay scales will vary from location to location and position to position. Managers, for example, will likely have more benefits such as health insurance and paid vacation than hourly delivery drivers do.

There are a few general perks that most, if not all, store employees get in some form or another across the board, though:

Domino’s Retirement Plans

Even though Domino’s store positions typically pay about minimum wage, many stores still offer employees 401(k) accounts. These allow workers to defer taxes on a portion of their paychecks and put that amount into an investment account that will start building their retirement savings.

Domino’s Sick Days

While some past and current Domino’s store managers share that they get health insurance, most hourly employees do not. They do, however, typically get a certain amount of paid sick leave.

Domino’s Store Discounts

Not only do Domino’s store employees usually get free meals during their shifts, but they also get store discounts. Depending on the franchise, these can be anywhere from 10% to 30% off, and they may only be able to be used in the particular store they work in. This is still a great perk, though, especially for students and parents of hungry kids.

Domino’s Opportunities for Advancement

Domino’s has a vast assortment of positions available, so there is opportunity for employees to move into management positions or up the corporate ladder. Of course, as they move up, their benefits increase as well.

Domino’s also offers several training programs that allow employees to learn the skills they need to reach their career goals.

Domino’s Benefits for Corporate Employees

For those who work at Domino’s corporate offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan, benefits are a little more standardized.

  1. Health and Wellness

Domino’s corporate employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance for themselves and their dependents.

They can choose the plans they want and can take advantage of the Flexible Spending Accounts, and Health Savings Account offered to them. These allow employees to set aside money to spend on health expenses tax-free.

In addition, Domino’s offers a program called Blueprint for Wellness that gives employees a review of their health so that they can learn how to improve their overall wellbeing. Workers can then participate in free programs that help them manage their families and their health and lifestyles.

  2. Educational Assistance Program

Full-time corporate employees who have worked for Domino’s for at least one year can be eligible for the Educational Assistance Program.

Through this program, Domino’s reimburses some educational expenses for employees as they work to pursue new opportunities within the company.

  3. Paid Vacation and Other Perks

While Domino’s doesn’t publicly post how much paid vacation its corporate employees get, reports across the internet say that they get at least a couple of weeks depending on tenure, plus extra paid holidays called Domino’s Days.

Corporate employees also get 401(k)s and free gym memberships and have the opportunity to earn bonuses and company-wide recognition. They also can take professional development courses that correlate with their personal career goals.
