POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing and Communications Associate plays a key role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies and communication initiatives that promote the organization's brand, programs, and services. Schedule and coordinate meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Manage contact databases, email distribution lists, and communication tools.
Assist the VP of Marketing and Communications with budget tracking, expense reporting and invoicing.
Social Media and Digital Content
Assists in the maintenance of DNWest's social media accounts, including posting, community engagement, and monitoring comments and direct messages.
Prepare, review, and format third-party content from press and other relevant sources for internal and external use.

Proficient in all Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator/Suite experience a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Driver II enhances the mission of DNWest by providing ground transportation for the recovery teams and the DNWest staff. Also providing pickup and delivery of organs, tissues, blood specimens, supplies and/or paperwork, and donors. The Logistics Coordinator II communicates with on call management, recovery staff, organ clinical staff, coroners, funeral homes, hospital staff, transplant surgeons, and other key individuals and groups in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral:
Completes documentation of driving activity on standard forms (pickup/drop-off times of team, destination, team/staff names. etc.)
Assists with the loading and unloading of supplies as necessary.
Responsible for delivery of the vehicles for scheduled/periodic maintenance as directed by management.
Conducts vehicle inspection prior to every case.
Participates effectively on the Logistics Coordinator I schedule, meeting minimum availability requirements.
Ensures that general vehicle maintenance is completed including the completion of the vehicle maintenance checklist, cleaning (inside and outside) of vehicles and ensuring vehicles have been fully refueled following use.
Arrives on time for attending department meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and other DNWest activities.

Team Transport:
Driving recovery teams to and from donor recovery hospitals and facilities.
Driving recovery teams to airport(s) and picking up teams at airport(s) following the completion of the recovery process.
Drives a DNWest vehicle with tissue and organs onboard for pickup and delivery to appropriate location.
Supply Runs and Non-Staff Related Pickups
Drives a DNWest vehicle for pickup and delivery of blood and tissue samples as needed.
Assists in Materials Management with stocking/inventory of supplies as needed.
Responsible for driving and delivering clinical supplies to satellite DNWest offices (Fresno, Redding, Reno, etc.)
Responsible for ensuring all supplies delivered to a satellite facility are stocked appropriately.
Performs scheduled monthly cleaning at the satellite facilities per DNWest policy.
Completes any other equipment transport needs that may arise.
Donor Transport:
Drives a DNWest vehicle for donor pick up and/or drop off.
Effectively operates transport gurneys independently and safely.
Performs an onsite assessment of the donor prior to transport to determine initial suitability. Contacts management on call with any concerns prior to the transport.
Recognizes and completes documentation regarding any valuables or personal items present on the donor, ensuring they are stored in a secure locker.
Ensures necessary information regarding cooling is obtained and completes required paperwork.
Back Up Lead Responsibilities:
Help to coordinate training of new logistics staff.
Trained to and capable of executing Logistics Coordinator Lead duties and responsibilities.
Administrative Work:
Staff are also required to perform some administrative work, such as training, policy review, meeting attendance and chart corrections. All work time must be properly recorded using DNWest's timekeeping method.
Although staff are provided with equipment for remote work use, they are not expected or required to monitor or respond to routine emails or attend to administrative duties during uncontrolled, non-activated time. Administrative tasks, including timekeeping, email checking, policy review, and job-related paperwork, communications, or phone calls, should be performed during activated time only. It is recommended that staff plan a two-hour block of time each week, to attend to outstanding administrative duties.
In the event of a mandatory meeting, staff will be provided with advance notice.
Staff are not authorized, expected to, nor permitted to work from home except under the following specific guidelines. Staff may perform a maximum of two hours of administrative work from home in each pay period, without advance management approval. Of course, staff should be properly clocked in when performing any work, and comply with all timekeeping, meal period and rest break policies regardless of work location.
“Off the clock” work is strictly prohibited.

POSITION SUMMARY The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing all aspects of a bi-weekly payroll in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and requirements, as well as DNWest's organizational policies and procedures. As part of a two-person payroll team, this position must work closely with Human Resources and Finance, and with a purpose to support the mission and core values of DNWest.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the weekly processing and accuracy of two bi-weekly payrolls on alternating weeks, including garnishments, benefits, timecard review, and taxes consistent with Federal and California wage and hour laws. Processes manual off cycle checks.
Assists with improving operations, including the decrease of payroll processing time, streamlining work processes and works cooperatively to provide quality customer service.
Processes monthly fringe benefits and benefit reconciliations.
Train managers and staff on timecard processing.
Ensures accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates in status changes, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and time off accruals.
Submits bi-weekly 403(b) contributions and reconciles health insurance deductions to monthly statements. Creates and runs monthly reports.
Maintains all payroll records according to federal and state laws and requirements, as well as DNWest's organizational policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and experience with complex payroll administration

The Supervisor, Recovery Services is integral to providing leadership and continuity of recovery services operations in a 24x7x365 department and for maintaining a high quality of service at all times to ensure all donor potential is maximized. Oversees editorial direction and branding of all DNW publications, collateral materials, promotional items and digital assets. This includes design, selection, production and distribution of materials.
Work with external creative marketing and communications agencies to implement and activate on programs.
Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals including creative services, marketing content, digital marketing, events, fundraising, public relations and internal and external communications.
Oversees all website and digital strategies including website content and digital advertising.
Establish a clear road map to drive the team's day-to-day and long-term work.
Oversees the communication between the organization and third parties, including transplant centers, hospitals, donors, the press, foundations, etc. related to business development. POSITION SUMMARY The Donation Program Consultant I strategically plans, implements, and evaluates internal and external systems to impact hospital and community donation programs. The Donation Program Consultant is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring hospital policies, procedures, strategies, and action plans to enhance eye, organ, and tissue donation within the assigned service areas. This role will also collaborate with other departments within Donor Network West to perform these functions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Takes primary responsibility for hospital donation strategy development and organ and tissue donation performance at assigned hospitals
Sets quarterly and yearly goals to continuously improve performance that is consistent with Donor Network West organizational goals and strategic plans.
Secures and maintains collaborative hospital leadership & physician relationships.
Provides support on-site at hospitals during active organ cases which may include referral response, family support, and family approach as needed.
Negotiates Donor Network West needs and necessary services with physicians, nurses, and ancillary services prior to and during organ and tissue donor cases.
Participates in post donation after action review/debrief meetings/Feedback with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff involved.
Performs quality assurance (QA) of data and maintenance of referral and donation process metrics
Provide concise written communications to external and internal partners.
Ensures current hospital affiliation agreement is maintained at all assigned hospitals.
Present plans and strategy to hospital administration, physicians, and nursing staff.
Provide conflict resolution, and advocacy with hospital administration, as needed.
Responsible for hospital program site maintenance by ensuring all regulatory requirements are met as scheduled, including medical record review, education, hospital policies related to donation, hospital strategic plans.
Participates in community events surrounding assigned hospital(s) such as Donate Life Month, as well as community-based donation promotion activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess extensive knowledge of public education, hospital, and business development. Maintains strong hospital and physician relationships.
Strong public speaking skills/experience giving formal presentations.
Understand hospital and community education needs of the organization and effectively formulate a plan of response. Ability to clearly communicate plan to organizational staff, internal, and external stakeholders.
Ability to communicate and present information effectively and concisely within a team environment.
Proactive team player who can multitask with ease and uphold organizational core values.
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adjusts to new priorities as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree in business health administration, marketing, and/or nursing required.
1 - 2 years' experience educating physician and healthcare professionals preferred 2 - 3 years' experience within a hospital system. Experience in collaboration, education, and negotiation with governmental regulatory bodies and key regulatory personnel preferred
Must maintain valid California or Nevada driver's license and ability to travel to DNWest service area by car.
Experience in presenting information, data, trends, and strategies to upper management, health care leaders, public groups, and other professionals preferred
Experience in sales and negotiations with individuals, businesses, and/or healthcare organizations preferred.
