This high-visibility role will focus on translating regulatory requirements into actionable controls and leveraging automation to prove that they work in practice. As a Manager of Compliance Assurance, you will pioneer a new strategy to second-line-of defense and drive DoorDash's Legal product compliance function to ensure that our processes, frameworks, and controls meet regulatory standards. You will leverage automation to test and monitor controls, conduct audits of compliance programs and policies, and support remediation efforts. Provide second-line-of-defense oversight to establish enterprise-wide compliance assurance frameworks and monitoring programs relating to Dasher pay models, pay transparency, deactivations, training, and a host of product related compliance initiatives.
Translate regulatory requirements into effective controls and perform testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance.
Conduct compliance assessments and audits to evaluate adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards.
Partner with Legal, HR, Product, Operations, and other teams to embed compliance requirements into policies and processes.
Develop and oversee data collection and validation for compliance reviews and regulatory reporting, driving efficiencies through automation where possible.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
