The primary responsibility of this position is to help create a safe event experience for all guests at the Stranahan Theater by working in conjunction with the assigned Lucas County Sheriff's Deputies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Screening of guests through metal detectors and wanding to ensure safety of all.
Man assigned post during the entire event and report any suspicious activity.
Enthusiastically greet guests while looking for any potential threats.

Specific Work Duties
Conduct watchperson rounds as directed.
Perform Common Area surveillance on both the interior and exterior of the facility on a schedule as dictated by building Management.
Endeavor to develop and maintain positive interactional relationships with unit owners, residents, and guests.
Enforce condominium policies and rules and regulations.
Cover breaks, sick time, vacations, and other absences at reception desk.
Investigate water leaks, respond accordingly, initiate leak logs and maintenance calls/support.
Investigate noise complaints, respond accordingly.
Address and engage residents and guests who may be unruly or in violation of building policy in a professional manner while maintaining a calm demeanor. Learn and display basic judgment for need to escalate and involve local authorities when needed.
Assist local fire, police, and other emergency responders when they are called to facility.
Log all pertinent incidents, rule infractions, observations, and security breaches in daily report logs.
Address and clean hazardous or unsightly spills/incidents in common areas.
Learn, understand, and execute all emergency procedures.
Monitor cameras as directed.
Assist in daily handling of package deliveries and pick up by residents.
Perform daily pool inspections, water testing, and basic pool cleanings.
Execute snow removal, shoveling, and salt application as needed and directed.
Special Projects/Assignments

As a Donor Greeter, you'll play a key role in supporting our mission by ensuring donors feel appreciated and valued while contributing to our efforts to repurpose goods and reduce waste.
The Donor Greeter maintains positive donor relations by warmly greeting, assisting, and thanking donors. This role involves presorting donations according to agency guidelines and representing the organization in a friendly and professional manner.
Essential Functions:
Ensure 100% donor and customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous service.
Greet donors with enthusiasm, assist with unloading donations, offer tax receipts, and maintain accurate daily donation counts.
Keep the donor area neat, organized, and safe. Report any equipment malfunctions or building issues to leadership.
Secure the donor door at the end of each day, ensuring all protocols are followed.
Notify leadership of sizable items that require special handling.
Handle donations carefully, presorting items into categories (e.g., apparel, shoes, wares) as per agency policies.
Tag and place sorted items in assigned areas while maintaining safety standards, such as adhering to the two-finger rule when filling and stacking totes.
Process materials to support production goals, directly or indirectly.
Provide every donor with a tax receipt and conclude each interaction with, "You changed a life today, thank you!"
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with the public is preferred.
Ability to interact with donors and customers using courtesy and tact.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Position Summary:
The Concierge serves as an ambassador to the community and supports managers in meeting their responsibilities for overall administration of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides positive first impression to all who enter the community
Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, Routes calls and takes messages, as appropriate
Greets all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Screens and requires visitors to “sign in” at reception desk. Notifies residents of visitors, Instructs resident's visitor according to resident's instructions.
Receives and processes mail for community staff. Accepts all outgoing mail/packages.
Types, copies, orders, and maintains inventory of office supplies, and performs other clerical duties.
Maintains and updates log of all emergency phone numbers. Keeps log at front desk.
Maintains and updates emergency contact information on each resident. Keeps information at front desk.
Assists managers with various clerical responsibilities.
Pages staff wearing beepers as necessary.
Takes RSVPs for special functions as necessary.
Oversees sign-up for scheduled transportation.
Hands out maintenance requests forms and pass on to maintenance.
Performs other duties as necessary.
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
High School Diploma required
Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities. Considerable initiative and judgment is also required.
Must have word processing and clerical skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours and participate in holiday activities.

Responsibilities
Answers incoming calls with a smile and provides routine information to callers, records messages and screens and routes calls to appropriate destinations.
Performs general clerical functions including typing, memos, filing, processing facility mail; and operating general office equipment.
Screens and directs all visitors.
Communicates and interacts with guest, residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way.
Champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
Ensures that an attractive home environment exists at all times with a milieu that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
Empathy for the challenges experienced by residents, families and team members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them.
Demonstrated computer skills and ability to interact with a variety of electronic devices.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
