What Does A Dormitory Counselor Do At Oregon Department of Education

* Monitor bedtime behaviors.
* Perform random bed checks to verify the presence and proper location of all students in the residence halls.
* Attend to students experiencing special needs such as nightmares, illness, homesickness, or sleepwalking.
* Provides guidance and assistance for student on their preparation for school; personal hygiene, room care, appropriate clothing, and other living skills.
* Complete cleaning of areas when not involved in bed-check rounds or student special needs.
