Compensation: $17 - $17.50 hourly Responsibilities: Regularly inspects hotel premises, including hallways, parking areas, and common areas, to identify potential hazards or security breaches. Observes surveillance cameras and alarm systems, looking for suspicious activity or unauthorized access. Regulates entry and exit points, verifies guest credentials, and prevents unauthorized access to restricted areas. Responds to alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents, providing first aid, summoning assistance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Addresses disputes, disruptive behavior, and other issues, using conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations and maintain order. Documents all incidents, observations, and security measures in daily logs and reports. Provides information and assistance to guests, ensuring a positive and safe experience. Ensures guests and staff adhere to hotel policies and regulations. Checks security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems, reporting any malfunctions or issues. Qualifications: Keen awareness of surroundings and ability to identify potential threats or issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and emergency personnel. Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts peacefully. Required for patrolling, responding to emergencies, and potentially dealing with physical confrontations. Maintains a composed and respectful demeanor, even in challenging situations. Ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and take appropriate action. Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is often required. Position Overview: The Assistant Stewarding Manager is responsible in enforcing the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment's.
