Compensation: $15 per hour Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information Handle customer complaints as necessary Qualifications: At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent About Company From IAH to warm cookies in just five minutes: our hotel is two miles from the terminals at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, just off the Sam Houston Tollway.
