What we are looking for:
Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, as well as the physical structure of an industrial facility by performing the following duties.
Essential Competencies:
* Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.
* Maintain and repair the physical structure of the facility.
* Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery.
* Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.
* Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
* Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.
* Operate a cutting torch and or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Various Saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
* An individual is expected to constantly observe and inspect our machinery and facility and to make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures, to ensure proper safety, increase productivity and general effectiveness within our organization. To this end they will work closely with supervision and management and demonstrate the ability to be a team leader.
* The technician is required to be a self-starter and to be able to work with or without supervision.
* Maintain work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner.
* Operate forklift or boom lift.
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Quantifiable Competencies:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 4+ years in one or more fields of the following; Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Machinist, Welding, Pipefitting and HVAC.
* 2 years or more experience with industrial machinery
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasional, and at sometimes heavy, overtime and extended hours are required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting facilities, repairing equipment, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities
