As a Painter at Trinity, you'll prepare, coat, and finish metal and/or other surfaces. You'll operate conventional/airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and/or other types of surfaces. You'll also mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies, and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula.
The Painter adjusts nozzles on spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of spray and monitors the flow and viscosity of the paint for solution. The Painter utilizes mill gauge and monitors the pressure amount properly, and cleans paint lines, paint guns, and performs other cleaning preventive maintenance to ensure painting apparatus remains in working order. The Painter also regulates temperature/air circulation in drying ovens.

What you'll do:
The Painter is responsible for sanding, cleaning, masking, and painting transformer units and fabricated components which require final finishing. All units must be painted before final inspection. The individual must produce an eye-pleasing, durable, painted finished product.
In this function, you will:
* Be responsible for the proper preparation of all surfaces to be sprayed; this includes bare metal areas and the proper sanding, feather edging of previously painted surfaces.
* Check the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness.
* Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
* Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth associates floor areas on a scheduled basis.
* Use crane to move units into spray boot and use crane to store repainted units in staging area for inspection.
* Cross train and perform duties in other work areas of the team.

* Review material and product requirements. May prepare any preparation operations as required such as masking and hanging parts onto holding devices. Job Description
To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. Contribute to the maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.
Responsibilities
Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.
Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
Clean all work areas after completing job.
Fill out Daily Work form.
Receive direction from engineering management on daily assignments or projects and complete within the time and manner specified or in accordance with hotel needs.
Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs and learn while helping with those repairs.
Receive direction for house calls via radio and respond promptly and appropriately.
Receive and update work requests from the work request system (Synergy).
Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have 1 year of previous experience as a commercial painter.
Must have flexible availability.
Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials.
Attention to detail is important.
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate to heavy weight without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

What You'll Do:
* Prepares, coats and finishes metal and/or other surfaces.
* Operates conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces.
* Mixes and applies alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula.
* Adjusts nozzles on spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of the spray and monitors the flow and viscosity of the paint for solution.
* Proper use of mill gauge and monitors pressure amount.
* Cleans paint lines, paint guns and performs other cleaning preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remains in working order.
* Regulates the temperature and air circulation in drying ovens.
* May also perform duties of Prep and Sandblast Worker.
* Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required.
* Follows all safety rules and practices.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or repairing as needed.
Operate spray guns, powder coating systems, and curing ovens safely and efficiently.
Apply powder or wet paint coatings to achieve uniform coverage and smooth finishes.
Inspect painted parts for quality, ensuring adherence to color, texture, and thickness specifications.
Perform touch-ups and corrections as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Maintain equipment and painting areas in clean, safe, and ready-to-use condition.
Follow production schedules, work orders, and safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet shift production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Previous painting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Familiarity with powder coating and/or wet paint application techniques.

Reliability and commitment to the scheduled 2nd shift hours.
Experience with both powder and wet paint applications.
