This position is accountable to the Director, Operations to manage all aspects of production in the Jenks plant which will include areas of Manufacturing, Safety, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manufacturing
* Responsible for ensuring that manufacturing team members meet site goals and objectives.
* Drive execution of site improvement plans aligned with Dover's Operational Model (aka, 0DOVER), help set manufacturing improvement goals, ensure priorities and accountabilities are clear, provide resources and remove obstacles to ensure success.
* Lead significant projects and improvement initiatives, including project scheduling and planning, budgeting, and control.

Safety
* Oversee the practice of all health and safety procedures, ensuring that safety is a core value.
* Ensure safe operation of the plant and equipment and comply with all legal, legislative, and corporate safety requirements.
* Assist, plan, and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
* Advise Director, Operations on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
* Maintain safety files and records.
* Conduct post-accident investigations and prepare reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by employees and senior management.
* Assist in the development, evaluation and upgrading of safety programs.
* Enforce safety and housekeeping practices.
* Assist and maintain environmental reports including Storm water permits, Air Emissions, etc.
Maintenance
* Ensure maximum efficient operation of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all grounds and support equipment, through the direction of a technical support staff made up of supervisors, technicians, custodians, and the purchase of necessary outside technical and non-technical support services.
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise machine and/or building maintenance schedules and activities.
* Execute maintenance improvement plans, set improvement goals, ensure priorities and accountabilities are clear, provide resources and remove obstacles to ensure success.
* Recommend equipment modification for upgrades.
* Set priorities for maintenance projects and work orders.
* May assist with and /or manage alterations or modifications to existing facilities.
* Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance employees.
* Coordinate all ordering of parts and services that will maintain or improve machines and the facility cost effectively.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* University (Degree); in area of specialty; 4 to 7 years successful experience, 4 years minimum experience in an operations management role; or equivalent successful combination of education and experience.
* Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.

A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Associate Engineer is responsible for the structural analysis and design of standard products to be quoted and fabricated by the Valmont Utility Division, Steel Group. Job Description
Load and unload parts in operation of 3-5 axis CNC mill and lathe machine cells to produce complex machined aerospace parts. Level one machinists are responsible for in process inspection of machined product, which requires basic competencies in shop math, hand measuring tools and documentation. Level one machinists are responsible for some deburr operations as well as basic preventative machine maintenance, which includes coolant and lube levels and area cleanliness. Typically 0-3 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
* Load and unload product to be machined in a number of fixtures and operations.
* Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances.
* Perform and record in process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features in light of customer supplied dimensional tolerances and specifications.
* Perform basic deburr operations such as edge breaking and light surface blending using a number of deburr tools and media.
* Interact with production tracking tools such as Labor Track and Shop Trak to charge time to job orders and claim parts at the end of the shift.
* Position includes duties that require PPE ( for parts handling, normally only gloves are required to prevent skin to part contact) for any handling of customer hardware.

This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd Shift.
This position follows a 2nd Shift work schedule, located on-site in Tulsa, OK.
Work hours are: 4pm to 3am - Monday to Thursday
The Maintenance Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the maintenance team within a large manufacturing plant that includes seven assembly lines, finishing processes lines, paint lines, furnaces, washing line and stamping presses. This position leads a team of approximately 20 hourly maintenance team members and plays a critical role in driving the plant's efficiency, reliability, and safety. This role will plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring that the team is effectively deployed to meet plant needs.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to maintain the lines, machines and equipment running correctly, maintenance data, develop strategies to improve equipment uptime, and ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with the plant's overall production goals.
Relocation available for eligible candidates.

Your responsibilities will include
Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement according to WCM Methodology.
* Training and supervision of the team on maintenance procedures, failure detection, inspection criteria, repair methods and safety practices.
* Monitor skill levels of the team members and assign tasks based on their capabilities.
Maintenance Strategy & Planning:
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and increase equipment reliability.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
* Continuously evaluate maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
* Utilize WCM manufacturing principles/ TPM / Lean, etc, to streamline maintenance operations and reduce waste.
* Drive the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve maintenance performance.
Safety & Compliance:
* Ensure that all safety rules and LOTO procedures during maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, plant policies, and industry standards.
* Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
* Lead incident investigations related to maintenance activities, identifying corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Budget & Resource Management:
* Optimize the use of resources to meet maintenance and production goals within budget constraints.
* Oversee the procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
Reporting & Documentation:
* Keep the clear communication with the staff on machine status, availability and issues.
* Maintain KPIs & KAIs and logs for all the machine activities, findings, repairs, and parts replacements.
* Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis, cost tracking, and equipment reliability metrics.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
Minimum requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment such as assembly lines and stamping presses
* 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams of maintenance personnel
Preferred skills and experiences
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others
* Experience with PLC programming, (Allen-Bradley), industrial controls, HMI/SCADA development, industrial networks, and instrumentation
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
* Strong experience on machine troubleshooting, PLC Allen Bradley, and Maintenance skills

A Brief Summary of This Position:
This position is a Strategic Site Leader. The incumbent will be responsible for institutionalizing a Lean Culture. This indirect leadership position is responsible for assisting in the Lean transformation for Oklahoma Operations through influence and relationship, as directed by the Senior Plant Manager. The incumbent will coach and train, managers, supervisors and office and shop floor team members in the applications of Lean tools and processes including Kaizen events and key metrics associated with ongoing Lean improvement. The incumbent will drive the Lean journey by implementing and utilizing Lean Principles and Methodologies. The role of the site Lean Excellence Manager is to champion the use of effective tools to improve operations, measure success and deliver ever-improving results. This position will build strong relationships throughout the organization to establish trust and credibility in the methodologies of Lean.
Essential Functions:
Identify, prioritize, and facilitate the execution of a Site Transformation Plan through: Value Stream Mapping, Critical KPI's, our Lean Assessment Tool, and Strategy Deployment.

Available Shift: 4th - Friday to Sunday from 5am - 5pm
Pay: $27.12/hour with $1.50/hour shift differential for night shift. Pay increases at 90 day and 6 month anniversary
BASIC FUNCTION:
This person operates a sub-arc welder and places a weld on one or four sides of the shafts. Prior to weld, operators must gouge and and grind required areas clean enough to pass ultrasonic inspections post weld. This person will effect repairs and ensure quality prior to submitting the shaft for inspection by quality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working from the directions of the supervisor, the job requires the movement of pole shafts into the seaming processor. Setting up and operate the sub-arc welder.
The incumbent will weld, grind, and repair each pole prior to present it to the Quality Inspectors. This person will also repair all seaming defect as directed by the Quality Inspectors.
Most of the work performed will be individually on a sub-arc welder. Essential tools and welding equipment will be provided, however accountability and maintenance will be the employee's responsibility.
Able to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors.
Performs other duties as directed by leaders and management.
Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all Valmont safety policies and procedures.
SKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Incumbent to pass an AWS welder qualification test and be able to use the sub-arc welding equipment without difficulty.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired or graduation from an accredited trade school with one year of experience.
Knowledge of welding properties of a variety of metals and alloys.
A thorough knowledge of welding procedures and practices are essential to ensure the quality of the product. This will include the ability to calculate formula using basic mathematics, standard U.S. and Metric Measurements.
Knowledgeable of Valmont's quality procedures, standards, and practices and will be aware of Valmont's environmental policies.
At the end of 90 Calendar days the candidate must be able to maintain an acceptable level of production, quality and attendance as determined by Management

Essential Functions:
Based on the location of the position this position could require up to 50% travel
