ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs.
Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.
Ability to work flexible schedule.
Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 1 year of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
Able to read and write legibly (e.g., to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, and enter information on reports if needed); basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide).

Quality Technician
Perform in-process and final product inspections/testing for device products: Conduct visual/functional checks on assembled devices
Support environmental monitoring and cleanliness in manufacturing/assembly areas: Execute routine sampling and testing (e.g., viable/non-viable particulates, settle plates) in ISO-classified cleanrooms used for assembly, escalate excursions, and assist in gowning qualification and line clearance activities.
Execute sampling and basic analytical testing of incoming materials and in-process samples: Test device components
Document deviations, non-conformances, and support CAPA investigations
Assist in equipment qualification, process validation, and cleaning validation activities

Required Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent
BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire)
