    OneEighty, a private, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavior health services in and around Holmes and Wayne Counties is seeking to hire a full-time Family Peer Mentor Recovery Coach. The Family Peer Mentor Recovery Coach (FPM) serves families referred to children services due to child abuse or neglect and parental substance use. The FPM provides peer support to help families navigate through the child welfare and other systems while also providing hope and motivation to keep children safe and families together. A complete job description is attached. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months. Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder (recommended 3 years). Must have lived-experience with the child welfare system either as a parent or child, with the case closed at least one year or if you do not have direct CPS experience, be able to describe how your substance use affected your child(ren) and family. May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty. If in recovery from addiction must have two years of continuous sobriety. Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification. Must be trained in administering Narcan. Must demonstrate no ongoing criminal activity. Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel. Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards. Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in Agency Policies and Procedures.
