Doyon Management Services (DMS) provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations. The senior construction Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, and administering good construction safety practices for all on-site activities. The Superintendent also maintains the job site office and closes out projects. Travel is required. SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $120,000.00-$165,000.00 per year. Construction Manager The Construction Manager will serve as the on-site representative responsible for customer interaction, daily construction monitoring, quality assurance, and field-level project management for the demolition of obsolete structures. Responsibilities include on-site construction monitoring, quality assurance activities, project management activities, and coordination activities, management of the project management software with the project delivery team to ensure work progresses in accordance with contract requirements and schedule. Hours: This is a 6-month long position with approximately 2 months at 20 hours a week and 4 months full time. It will be a part time position from construction contract award (anticipated September 30, 2025) until the start of construction (November 1, 2025) and during contract completion between March 1, 2026 and March 31, 2026). Transportation: This project involves multiple locations at the Valley Forge National Historic Park, so the applicant will need to have appropriate transportation to commute to the Park and to the various locations within it. Duties may include: Coordinate with customers to establish requirements; Support the development of the Program of Requirements (POR); Conduct design reviews; Review the Design Intent Drawings (DiDs) for scope accuracy; Review the Construction Drawings (CDs) for scope, technical accuracy, constructability and bid ability; Perform value engineering reviews; Participate in weekly progress meeting; Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes; Review project submittals; Prepare government cost estimates; Prepare written scopes of work; Prepare and update the project schedule; Set up and maintain job files; Prepare and update the project budget; Review cost proposals and change orders; Perform substantial completion inspection; Provide technical review support; Respond to Requests for Information (RFI's); Maintain logs of all construction documents. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Strong working knowledge of budgets, estimating, scheduling, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction practices Proficient in field inspections, quality control, and documentation of demolition, hazardous material abatement, and site restoration activities. Experience in construction project oversight, records maintenance, meeting facilitation, safety, and technical analysis Familiarity with project documentation, workflows, and use of PMIS platforms such as ProjectTeam or Procore Ability to conduct daily inspections, report on construction progress, and track punch list and issue resolution items OSHA 30 hour training. The Site Superintendent is responsible for daily on-site coordination of solar photovoltaic construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. This role leads field operations, oversees subcontractors and crews, manages project documentation via Procore, and ensures a strong culture of safety and accountability on-site. The work job sites for this role will be located in the state of Illinois but willingness to travel is required in the role. * Supervise daily construction activities across solar PV sites (canopy, rooftop, and ground mount installations) * Lead daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules * Coordinate labor crews, subcontractors, and vendors on site * Monitor site safety and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols * Track daily work progress and update project status using Procore software * Troubleshoot field challenges and escalate as necessary to project management * Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, material deliveries, and labor hours * Review blueprints and project plans to ensure work is performed to spec * Facilitate clear communication between the field and project leadership * Conduct quality control inspections and ensure project meets Coral Reef standards * This position requires frequent overnight travel to project sites, with work assignments typically lasting a week or longer based on project need. The work involves outdoor site supervision in varying weather conditions * High school diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years of construction experience (solar PV preferred); technical certifications or degree may substitute for experience * Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management platforms * Strong knowledge of solar construction methods and safety requirements * Ability to lead and communicate with field crews and subcontractors * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans * Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions * Must be able to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks
