SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE (Basic purpose of job) The Yard Switcher Position requires a tractor-trailer driver with a CDL license working knowledge of all safety procedures regarding switching and moving of trailers, performing yard checks, performing safety checks on yard tractor and trailers and fueling for the yard tractor as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
