For more information about Draper, visit *************** Summary: Draper's contested environment Integration and Test (I&T) group is looking for an experienced and well-rounded electronics testing engineer with a strong history of test definition, planning, execution, and reporting. The candidate should be well versed in working with a wide variety of test instrumentation, as well as developing control software. An ideal candidate would also have experience in conducting field tests, working with memory or digital devices, and performing radiation testing. Experience in all of these areas is not required if the candidate is adaptable and a fast learner. While radiation testing experience, in particular, is preferred, this may be a good opportunity to develop that specialized skillset. The role will require working with one or more teams in helping programs evaluate, refine, and validate components and hardware designs intended to operate in extremely challenging environments. An ability to support some amount of travel and work out of the Draper Cambridge office are also required. : Duties/Responsibilities • Able to take ownership of assignments and guide others as needed; successfully lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule. • Derive plans, approaches, procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle, capturing all assumptions and adapting appropriately to changes in requirements with limited direction. • Independently contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations which shows an understanding of their task and an awareness of the intended audience. Develop and execute test plans to verify machine functionality and reliability. Provide timely and accurate project status, documentation, and training. Troubleshoot down equipment, including finding the root cause of failures and engineering solutions to correct them. Work closely with equipment vendors throughout all phases of a project's development on controls and software requirements and related issues. Support factory expansion efforts, including vendor acceptance testing, equipment commissioning and process qualification.
