The Data Team builds the infrastructure, systems, and support that make data a valuable strategic asset across DREAM. We believe data should enhance people's work, and we strive to make it easier for staff to access the insights they need to improve outcomes, uphold standards, and meet the needs of every student.
The Data Coordinator is part of the Network Support Team, and splits time 40/60 between home and the network office. A successful data coordinator balances the work of advancing data infrastructure for the PK-8 schools with the on the ground, day-to-day programmatic support that running a CMO entails. Reporting to the Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment, the Data Coordinator: PK-8 will strategically support the data team in this growth plan through data collection, management, reporting, and analysis.Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management
Ensure DREAM's PK-8 Student Information Systems are the network's single source of truth for all relevant data;
Maintain existing and build new data tools for academic and non-academic stakeholders;
Support the test administration process for all DREAM PK-8 assessments to ensure that testing procedures are routine;
Collaborate with the Director of Special Education and Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment to ensure that all mandated testing accommodations are adhered to for students with disabilities;
With the Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment, oversee system compliance of enrollment, attendance, and grading policies.
Data Reporting & Analysis
Build and maintain data reports and visualizations to display student achievement results and key performance metrics;
Provide clean, transformed, analysis-ready data sets to stakeholders, utilizing DREAM's data stack to model data in a way that empowers end users to answer their own questions;
Support school-based staff in using data tools and reports for continuous improvement;
Provide additional data reporting and analysis as needed for external accountability, compliance, and teacher evaluation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, required;
Experience analyzing data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail using Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, required;
At least 1 years experience in education, youth development, and/or data analysis, preferred;
Experience creating data dashboards and visualizations;
Adept at distilling and communicating complex concepts to various audiences in a clear and concise manner;
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, solutions-focused manner;
Skilled in creating and implementing project plans to tackle long-term assignments;
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines;
Experience with SQL preferred;
Familiarity with cloud data warehouse solutions a plus (ex: Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake);
Familiarity with data visualization tools a plus (ex: Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc).
Working Expectations
The Data Coordinator is part of the Data Team, which currently works 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote, per week (subject to change).

Compensation
DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. The incoming annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary closer to the start of the range depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. All regular employees receive annual compensation increases and have the opportunity to earn both performance- and tenure-based bonuses. Because we value tenure in each role, our salary ranges are not capped.

DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI), an award winning sports-based youth development program, is seeking dynamic individuals to serve as as After School Youth Workers in our elementary (REAL Kids) and middle school (DreamBuilders) programs in East Harlem and the South Bronx.
The Youth Worker will lead a group of 18-20 students daily in activities including sports, social-emotional learning, enrichment, and academic support programming.
Youth Workers will have the opportunity to participate in professional development training, in addition to receiving regular feedback and support. This is an excellent opportunity to build your youth development skills while working with a passionate and supportive team. Responsibilities
Lead a group of up to 18-20 youth in daily after-school activities including sports, social-emotional learning, enrichment and academic support;
Facilitate or co-facilitate lessons to help youth build their social and emotional skills;

Support with homework completion and other academic enrichment;
Model and encourage positive participation in all daily activities, with a focus on team building;

The Prospect Researcher plays a critical role in expanding DREAM's donor base through proactive prospect sourcing, research, and cultivation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement Operations, the Prospect Researcher will continue to build a strong donor acquisition program that will source and qualify donors through research, strategic cultivation and fundraising events and partner with fundraising leads to build robust major gifts portfolios across the team. Portfolio Management
Support the cultivation and stewardship of 75 institutional funders at the $10,000+ level
Track and manage the strategic next steps for prospective and current donors, with a focus on securing new, renewal, and increased gifts

Plan donor visits, tours, and events with funders to showcase the impact of philanthropic contributions and the ongoing needs of DREAM
Identify and qualify new foundation prospects to build DREAM's funding base
Grant Writing
Write compelling grant proposals, renewals, and reports with persuasive narratives, accurate data, and detailed financials
Draft program briefings and funding ideas that align with DREAM priorities and specific funder interests
Clearly articulate DREAM's case for support to create persuasive proposals tailored to funder priorities
Build and maintain collaborative relationships key internal stakeholders, including Advancement, Communications, Data, and Finance teams, to support the grant writing process
Grant Operations

Qualifications

Compensation
DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. The incoming annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 per year. All regular employees receive annual compensation increases and have the opportunity to earn both performance- and tenure-based bonuses. Because we value tenure in each role, our salary ranges are not capped.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this individual will serve as the Facilities Associate. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who is willing to learn.
Like all DREAM employees, the Facilities Associate should demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of DREAM and should have substantial expertise in all areas of responsibility. Ensure the school, park, program spaces and office condo are kept clean at all times;
Perform outdoor maintenance, such as snow removal and park maintenance;
Responsible for room and event set up, as determined by staff needs and preferences;
Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment, such as buffing machines and floor scrubbers;
Assist with daily inspections of school building, park, offices and program spaces, checking for potential disruptions to daily operations, and addressing or reporting them accordingly;
Assist with as needed maintenance and cleaning at multiple DREAM locations, and be familiar with maintenance schedules at all facilities;
Receive and respond to facilities maintenance tickets;

Qualifications
High School diploma required;
A minimum of one year of experience in facilities, construction or maintenance;
Mechanically inclined (i.e. - ability to use tools and cleaning equipment);
Strong written and verbal communications skills;
Any current FDNY certificates of fitness, HVAC or plumbing certifications, a plus;
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail;
Commitment to the mission and goals of DREAM Charter School;
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and have no difficulty bending, standing, climbing or walking, for short or long periods of time.
Working Expectations
Hours are generally in 8 hour shifts between 6 AM - 2 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM with occasional after hours or weekend work.

Compensation
DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. The incoming salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 per year, along with the option of overtime paid at time and a half. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary closer to the start of the range depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. All regular employees receive annual compensation increases and have the opportunity to earn both performance- and tenure-based bonuses. Because we value tenure in each role, our salary ranges are not capped.

Reporting to the Athletics, Health, and Wellness Manager, the Spectator Support Staff will be responsible for the security and logistics of Athletics Events at DREAM.
Responsibilities
Support with the security and logistics of Athletics Events, including setup and breakdown of equipment;
Coordinate pre-program logistics with relevant stakeholders, including sharing schedules and approved visit lists;

Reporting to the OST and Athletics Director, the DREAMBuilders Athletics Coach will be responsible for coordinating after school physical activity and coordinating club sports during DREAM's middle school after-school program. The Athletics Coach will support the development of athletic skills and provide opportunities for social emotional learning by leading club sports teams during DREAM's after-school program, including planning and leading practices, coaching during scrimmages, and leading leadership and social emotional learning activities.

DREAM has partnered with Brigaid to build our own in-house food service program, which will launch in Fall 2023 at our state-of-the-art school in the South Bronx and eventually expand to two additional DREAM locations in East Harlem and the Bronx. At scale, this program will serve breakfast, lunch, and likely dinner to 1,300 students almost 365 days of the year, along with providing curated food programs for DREAM alumni, families, and community members. The South Bronx campus will be the central hub for DREAM's food and wellness programs as well as the main culinary event space for high-profile external events.
Reporting to DREAM's Director of Special Projects, DREAM's Part-Time Cooks will work closely with the Brigaid Program Chef and kitchen team to execute DREAM's vision of a best-in-class food and nutrition program. Cooks will be responsible for producing and serving daily meals to DREAM students and staff, and will maintain the kitchen and storage spaces to the highest level of organization, cleanliness, and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals committed to supporting the community's engagement with food to help execute a one of a kind food program in service of DREAM's students and families.Responsibilities
Daily execution of DREAM's National School Lunch Program (NSLP)-compliant food service program;
Daily production and service of meals for DREAM students and staff, using NSLP-compliant recipes;

Reporting to the Dean of Student Life, K-8 After School Enrichment Specialists create diverse learning experiences that focus on, but are not limited to, artistic, cultural or STEM activities for students in grades Pre-K to 8 in REAL Kids and DreamBuilders, DREAM's nationally recognized after school program. Previous enrichment activities offered include Martial Arts, Hip-Hop Dance, Slam Poetry, Art Club, Robotics, STEM, and World Languages. Specialists deliver 45 minute-long sessions to teams of 18-20 students in grades Pre-K-8, supported by one Youth Worker. Responsibilities
Grades PreK-3: Design and deliver a series of lesson plans for an enrichment activity aligned to the DREAM program model and that supports interest exploration and enrichment exposure for early elementary students;
Grades 4-8: Design and deliver a series of lesson plans for an enrichment activity aligned to the DREAM program model and that culminates in a project or presentation;
Collaborate with Youth Workers, Dean of Student Life and Associate Director of Extended Learning and Enrichment to provide a cohesive and fun experience for youth;
Embed literacy throughout all instruction;
Prepare all materials before activities begin and facilitate a thorough clean up afterwards;
Encourage youth to positively participate in activities;

Reporting to the Network Director of SEL and Mental Health and the School Principal, the Elementary School Mental Health Provider will support the school in addressing the social, emotional and developmental needs of the school's students and families and ensure students have access to appropriate resources and services.
Responsibilities
Embody DREAM's maxims and ensure that students exhibit the same values;
Ensure all weekly scheduled mental health services are in compliance with IEP and 504 mandates;
Create Counseling Reports and Quarterly IEP Progress Reports for all students with IEPs by the set deadlines and participate in IEP Meetings when appropriate;
Maintain updated progress monitoring session notes in NYC DOE SESIS documentation system;
Support teachers in understanding each student's behavioral and social emotional strengths and needs and supporting appropriate differentiated instruction by participating in Grade Team Meetings, completing monthly classroom observations, implementing teacher consults when appropriate, etc.;
Support students and groups of students through intervention programming in accordance with DREAM's Response to Intervention;
Write Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students in need when appropriate;
Embrace and use school culture systems with all DREAM students;
Collaborate with families to ensure a positive partnership by providing consistent communication aligning to student progress;
Supervise and train paraprofessionals for students with mandated 1:1 supports in accordance with student BIPs;
Manage the day-to-day work of students' paraprofessionals when reviewing the student behavior intervention plan and discussing appropriate strategies when supporting the student, when appropriate;
Initiate and maintain communication with outside student support agencies (SCR/ACS systems, foster care system) tied to student needs as needed;
Participate in weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision meetings;
Additional duties related to the running of the school as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a similar field, required;
New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit (MHC-LP), OR School Psychologist with NYSED license or NYS DOE certification, required;

Limited Permit holders will be able to accrue NYSED licensure hours through maintaining a caseload of 5-8 students for mandated counseling.

3-5 years of previous school-based counseling experience, preferred;
At least 1 year of experience with IEPs, Special Education, or Early Intervention, preferred;
Extensive experience utilizing evidence based therapeutic approaches with students and their families in diverse, underserved communities;
Experience facilitating group therapy and providing crisis intervention (e.g., assessing for suicidality) with a trauma informed and restorative justice approach;
Experience working with and navigating through the SCR/ACS systems, foster care system;
Have a working knowledge of state regulations related to child abuse, neglect, and other urgent care issues;
Skillful collaborator and case manager with the ability to bringing together all stakeholders to ensure youth is receiving all necessary supports and services;

Compensation
The salary range for incoming Mental Health Providers with a Master's is $79,000 to $101,000 per year.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Advancement, the Director of Major Gifts is responsible for managing philanthropic partnerships with DREAM's individual and corporate donors. This individual will cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major donors and work collaboratively across a diverse fundraising team towards a collective goal of $21M in philanthropic annual revenue.

Strategic Portfolio Management
Design and execute specific revenue strategies for DREAM's major gifts program with a focus on building the major gifts portfolio
Manage a dynamic portfolio of 100-150 individual and corporate major gift prospects
Develop and implement tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies for each prospect; write concept notes and proposals as needed
Conduct regular donor meetings and visits to deepen relationships and bring donors closer to DREAM's mission
Collaborate with the Special Events & Operations team to solicit special event sponsorships
Ensure timely and meaningful stewardship, including writing donor reports, coordinating touchpoints from executive and Board leadership, and PR and cause marketing initiatives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
Pipeline Development
Collaborate with the Prospect Researcher to identify, qualify, and cultivate new donors to DREAM
Attend external events and conferences to expand DREAM's philanthropic network
With support from the Special Events & Operations team, plan and facilitate cultivation events with key corporate prospects
Career Partnerships
Collaborate with the Program team to identify and secure corporate partners who can provide internship and career opportunities for current DREAM students and alumni

Qualifications

DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. The incoming annual salary range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000 per year.
