Job Description
Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality learning design, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Artist to assist in the creation of story-driven VR experiences in the world of science and education. To be successful, the Artist must be adept at using industry-standard software tools and have a proven track record of content creation in a professional capacity with one or more shipped titles under their belt.
You are a strong generalist, willing to take on a variety of tasks, both independently and in collaboration with other artists. The Artist will work closely with the project leads and the Art Director.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of AAA quality environments and assets
Follow defined and established art standards/ systems while ensuring all creative material are consistent
Maintain a close working relationship with your direct manager, producers, leads, directors and other teams to push project quality
Liaise with lead artists and developers regarding the style and feel of the project
Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style
Building 3D models of all assets in line with the technical limits of the engine
Applying textures to all visual elements
Adding lighting and shading effects to all elements, ensuring consistency in color, intensity and lighting levels
Maintaining production documentation
Problem solving both creative and technical issues
Adhering to the production schedule
Maintain asset folder structure and organization in unity.
Designing with the user experience in mind
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Digital Art, Game Art & Design or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in game development.
Solid understanding of game design concepts.
Extensive experience using 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of game engine.
Deep understanding of the necessary software tools.
Extensive game development experience using Unity.
Highly creative and passion in visual effects
Excellent computer skills as well as great attention to detail

In this role, you'll craft visually stunning, optimized, and immersive environments that bring our virtual learning worlds to life. Roles & Responsibilities:
Environment Art Creation
Design, model, texture, and light high-quality environments and props optimized for real-time rendering in VR/AR.
Create modular environment assets, materials, and shaders that support scalability and performance.
Contribute to concept art, visual development, and look-dev for new projects.
Ensure assets meet performance, optimization, and platform-specific technical requirements.
Collaboration & Workflow
Work closely with designers, technical artists, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of assets into interactive environments.

Strong portfolio demonstrating environmental storytelling, composition, lighting, and material work in real-time engines.
Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop.
Experience with Unity Engine and familiarity with scene assembly, lighting, and optimization.
Solid understanding of PBR workflows, modular environment design, and real-time performance constraints.

Utilizing paint skills to create original 2D, 2.5D, and 3D content that may comprise part or all of an environment, sky, or element.

As a member of the Art Team Task Force, the Frosting Artist is an integral member of and a creative collaborator in artistic productions. What You'll Do
You will be a key member of the design team, focusing on driving efficiency and executing a wide array of creative tasks, such as:
Managing production-ready art for manufacturing partners
Creating packaging, collateral, product / country of origin labels, and print designs (including die-lines)
Supporting product renderings and presentation decks for internal and client use
Taking on repeatable, executional tasks that move projects forward
We don't design for landfills-we create thoughtful, sustainable products that consumers love. You'll collaborate closely with lead designers and the production team to support all internal creative needs, ensuring every project stands out while meeting high technical standards.

Employment Details & Compensation
We are looking for someone local to the Los Angeles, California area. This role follows a hybrid work schedule that balances remote and in-office work based on individual performance and current workflow needs. After completion of the initial training and probationary period, employees are expected to work a minimum of two days per week in the office. The specific in-office days will be coordinated to support team collaboration and operational efficiency.
Location: Venice, CA
Type: Temporary, 4-month, Full-time position
Compensation: $35-$40 per hour, based on experience. This role is eligible for full company health insurance and other standard employee benefits after completion of two months of employment.
Work Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days in office per week

Skydance Games is seeking an experienced Lead Lighting Artist who is passionate about the cinematic and technical craft of lighting. The ideal candidate combines a strong artistic eye with deep technical expertise in Unreal Engine's lighting toolset-covering both baked and fully dynamic lighting workflows. As Lead Lighting Artist, you will work closely with the Art Director and Concept Team to bring stylized worlds to life through mood, tone, and atmosphere. You'll be responsible for defining the lighting vision, ensuring visual consistency across environments, and maintaining performance optimization across all platforms.Responsibilities
Drive the overall lighting direction for the project in collaboration with the Art Director.

The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $145,000 - $160,000. RESPONSIBILITIES
Visualize the design team's concepts and collections using Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools, and 3D visualization software.

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in apparel visualization, CAD, or 3D product visualization within the fashion industry.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, and related creative applications.
Experience or demonstrated interest in AI visualization tools and generative image platforms.
2+ years of experience with 3D apparel software (e.g., Clo3D, Clo-Set, or similar) for visualization and rendering workflows.
Deep understanding of the apparel design and development process, including an eye for silhouettes and fit.
Strong understanding of color, lighting, texture, and composition in visual storytelling.
Excellent sense of visual aesthetics and ability to interpret design intent into digital visualizations.

The Base Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position.
