Mr. Walter R. Wheeler, also known as Rick has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Geospace Technologies Corporation since January 1, 2014. Mr. Wheeler served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Geospace Technologies Corporation. Mr. Wheeler is responsible for sales, manufacturing, information technology and safety departments. He is one of leading design engineers and has 27 years of experience in seismic data acquisition system design. Mr. Wheeler joined OYO Geospace in 1997 and previously worked for 13 years as a Design Engineer at Input/Output, Inc. (now known as ION Geophysical Corp.). Mr. Wheeler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.

With more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, Steve is a proven leader and expert in project delivery. He joined EN Engineering in 2016 after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Wood Group Mustang, Inc. During his tenure there, he was responsible for significantly increasing the company’s geographic footprint, employee base, and revenues. Steve held a variety of leadership roles at Wood Group Mustang including business unit leader and chief operating officer, and has also worked as a project engineer and project manager for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. He began his career as an offshore construction engineer with Chevron USA. With a long family history in the Boy Scouts of America, Steve, his father, his brothers, and his son all earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award. Steve will soon earn his private pilot’s license, and in his free time he enjoys watching football and playing golf. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Stephen DeFalco leads global, technology companies and is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Creation Technologies, a award winning scalable EMS solution company and also an affiliate partner at Lindsay Goldberg Private Equity. He is also Chairman at Senseonics, a NYSE listed diabetes care company with a novel implantable continuous glucose monitor. Previously he was CEO of Crane Currency, MDS, and US Genomics. Prior to that he held leadership positions at PerkinElmer, United Technologies, McKinsey & Company, and IBM.Specialties: Business transformation, growth, acquisitions.
