    JOB SUMMARY: The position will work as a shift equipment operator on a bagging facility and undergo training for maintenance. Position requires operation of forklift and manlift. Facility is a growing startup operated by an established industrial company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1-2 years' experience in a production environment preferred. Assist the plant maintenance program based on best practices with an emphasis on preventive maintenance using equipment vendor guidance. Record the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary. Ability to understand and operate various types of machinery and the tools required to work on each. Assist with preventive and corrective/emergent maintenance tasks across the warehouse and production areas including installed equipment, facilities, and forklifts. Ensure assigned projects are completed timely, correctly, safely and to the standard. Understand, operate, and train operators on installed production equipment. Operate equipment as may be necessary during the performance of duties to include forklift, scissors lifts, etc. Willing to work flexible hours when needed. Good physical condition. Note: Job requires extensive physical activity to include heavy lifting, climbing ladders, heights, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
