Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform oil changes, including filter replacements and top-offs of other fluids (coolant, power steering, transmission, etc.) Rotate tires, balance wheels, and perform tire pressure checks and adjustments. Inspect vehicle belts, hoses, and other under-the-hood components. Perform basic vehicle inspections, including checking lights, wipers, and fluid levels. Assist with minor repairs as needed, such as replacing air filters, batteries, and light bulbs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers. Assist other technicians as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.     Summary: The Attractions Technician is responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance inspections, as well as maintaining and repairing attractions and equipment. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of all attractions by adhering to company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Attraction Maintenance & Repairs: Perform required facility and maintenance repairs on all attractions. Conduct maintenance and repair of small engines and electronic parts. Ensure all attraction ride speeds are set to company and manufacturer guidelines. Perform tasks in accordance with ASTM safety standards. Inspections & Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance as . Review and take timely action on all manufacturer safety bulletins. Document inspections, corrective actions, and repairs in designated logbooks. Respond promptly to maintenance calls and attraction shutdowns, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and repairs comply with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for compliance and operational efficiency. Additional Responsibilities: Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and courteous behavior in all situations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities team. Qualifications: Experience with mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Knowledge of small engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to follow safety regulations and industry standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Education and Experience: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Technical or vocational training in mechanics, electronics, or a related field. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly, as well as full dexterity and agility to maneuver in tight spaces. It involves standing and walking for long periods, bending, squatting, gripping small objects, and pushing or pulling heavy items. The work environment includes high noise levels and may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. The position requires availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
