Position Description - Environmental Heath & Safety Manager Business Group/Dept: Production FLSA: Exempt Reports To: National Safety Director Date: December 13, 2023 Purpose of the Position The Safety Manager is responsible for providing oversite in planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of our safety program. This includes conducting on-site field safety inspections, maintaining all company safety policies, procedures and implementing site specific safety plans that comply with OSHA, state, federal, and local government regulations regarding abatement, decontamination, renovation, remediation, hazards/regulated materials assessment and mitigation, demolition, and related projects. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for conducting employee training and refresher training programs as well as managing our DOT program. As a Take 5 crew member, your job will be to: Drain motor oil, change oil filter Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure Inspect and top off fluids Perform coolant exchanges Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor Maintain cleanliness of work environment Provide excellent customer service All our crew members need to meet the following requirements: Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position yourself safely under cars Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop #LI-DNI #DBHVOL Get early access to 50% of your earned wages at any time through our my FlexPay program.
