ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates tractor trailers and other necessary equipment including loading and unloading.
Supports operations by moving objects of size and weight, and installing and dismantling equipment.
Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
Place equipment on trailers for loading and off-loading.
Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety.
Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.
Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use
Report to customers or managers on the progress of the job, the estimated time left to complete the work and evaluations of employees.
Fulfills all regular and advanced installations/construction duties, including project layout, and completes paperwork in a timely manner.
Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chain-falls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment.
Inspect rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Operations Manager, Superintendent, Safety Director, or HR Representative.
Follows daily Driver 1/2 procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Check with Dispatch at end of job for further duties or end of day
Regularly communicates with maintenance staff about repairs and maintenance needs on major pieces of equipment on assigned job.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Seasonal Driver & Warehouse Technician to join our team. The position is responsible for driving various box-trucks, or a semi-truck (dependent upon driver's license classification) to transport, pickup and return equipment deliveries for our events as scheduled by the Logistics Supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining written or telephone contact with the Logistics Supervisor to receive delivery and/or pickup instructions, warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse and show duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Driving one or more of the following (depending on license classification) to transport, pickup, and return equipment:
Class A: Operates combination vehicles with a GCWR of 26,001 lbs or more, including tractor-trailers with trailers over 10,000 lbs GVWR (typically 48-53 ft trailers).
Class B: Operates single vehicles 26,001 lbs GVWR or more, including large box trucks (typically 24-28 ft), with trailers under 10,000 lbs GVWR.
Secure and maintain all equipment inside truck and keep track of necessary inventory within possession.
Responsible for strapping, storing, and securing equipment inside truck.
Ensure gear leaving and coming through the warehouse is being prepared correctly for events and pulled/returned through the proper systems and quality control measures.
Load and unload trucks for events with the direction from the Warehouse Manager.
Inspect and clean gear in stock or coming in from events for proper quality control. Gear must be presentable and in ideal working condition before returning to stock.
Pick-up and drop-off rental gear at various vendor locations.
Accurately and timely complete paperwork, DTR driver trip reports, and using Samsara software to input and maintain driver logs.
Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and cleaning the warehouse.
Prevent loss and damage to all equipment and vehicles that are under direct supervision.
Maintain written communication with supervisor regarding necessary preventative maintenance, repairs and other safety or procedural issues.
Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
Operate and maintain vehicle in safe and clean condition.
Other relevant duties may be assigned by management.

Work Environment:

Assist in deliveries at our nearby locations when needed. What makes you a great fit?A valid driver's license is needed to get the job. Reading and writing proficiency are a must since you'll be validating product orders, reading boxes and labels, and reading and comprehending road signs, and vehicle dashboard/instrument panel cues. You'll be 21 years of age or older. It's extra awesome if you have prior experience with route deliveries, customer service, handheld devices for inventory, and driving experience with a commercial vehicle.
