What you'll do:
Route planning and execution:
Prepare the delivery vehicle each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly; familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers' requests to complete the scheduled route.
Complete all deliveries on route as scheduled.
Ensure route optimization by identifying challenges or roadblocks ahead of time to complete the route in the most efficient manner.
Customer service:

Address customer questions or concerns during deliveries.
Product knowledge:
Develop a strong understanding of the products being delivered and the proper product handling associated with bottled water, PE tanks, salt, and additional products as applicable.

Documentation:
Complete customer agreements and route sheets accurately and legibly.
Perform payment collection from customers; promptly turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the end of each workday.
Adhere to the proper utilization of handheld palm units, while entering accurate information concerning the customer and abiding by all rules concerning its use.
Safety:
Operate delivery vehicles safely; adhere to traffic rules and DOT regulations.
Perform Daily Vehicle Inspections (DVIR's) and report any issues to management.
Where you'll work:
Culligan Drivers spend much of their time out in the field delivering to both commercial and residential customers - this means you'll spend extensive time driving and getting in and out of the route truck. Our drivers deliver in rain or shine and must be comfortable being exposed to various weather conditions. This role is labor intensive and requires strong physical stamina.
