Description of Essential Duties: Load trucks with propane cylinders Deliver propane cylinders to assigned route Routes are designed to sell or exchange 300-550 tanks a day, it is physically demanding Properly fill out driver logs and daily paperwork and mail paperwork to the main office daily Complete assigned routes in a logical sequence ensuring all delivery times are met and working at a steady pace while delivering the propane cylinders, maintaining safety. Perform all truck maintenance, on a daily basis, verify all safety supplies are on the truck, keep inside and outside of truck clean and orderly, and notify manager of any issues that need to be fixed. Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers, meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations. Job Description City of Pekin School Bus Department is seeking applicants for part-time school bus drivers during the school year. The position is active during the school year while school is in session. Position is a split shift, with 3 hour guaranteed minimum per day. Must be 21 years of age, have or have the ability to maintain a CDL with school bus permit and pass an extensive background check, pre-employment physical and drug test and random drug and alcohol testing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates school bus on a predetermined route and schedule in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain order and discipline among students on bus following school district and City of Pekin rules and regulations. Performs daily inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance, mileage, trip and student reports. Prepare student conduct and incident reports and accident reports. Operates hydraulic lift. Assists in the loading and unloading of physically and mentally handicapped students as necessary. Monitors vehicle and equipment operation and reports malfunctions and repair needs. Maintain current certification for CPR and basic first aid training. Fuel and clean exterior and interior of buses including, but not limited to, sweeping & mopping floor, wiping upholstery, picking up debris and general cleaning daily. High school diploma or equivalent, commercial driver's license with school bus permit or ability to receive one, prior responsible work experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
