This position is responsible for delivering products, including hazardous materials, to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Professionally assist clients to enhance a positive service image within the department. Determine shipment, delivery, and pickup priorities. Oversee scheduling transport shipments and meet delivery commitments. Assist in the most efficient use of drivers and equipment. Maintain cost control for overtime and expenses. Maintain the proper mix of company and for hire trucks on the road at all times.
