JOB FUNCTION: This position is responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various locations to deliver, set-up and / or pick-up, and service portable restrooms, hand sinks, restroom trailers or holding tanks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately. Also report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager, Superintendent or Maintenance Department. Operate truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to service, deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, hand sinks, restroom trailers, or holding tanks. Updates work orders with relevant delivery or pick-up detail. Assist in set-up and service of water systems and holding tanks, and troubleshooting customer issues. Maintain telephone or electronic messaging contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc. Effective use of IOS device for route information. Following the Company's safety guidelines, properly secures equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist yard personnel when necessary to load and unload portable restrooms, hand sinks, restroom trailers and holding tanks. Ensure that units are clean and sanitized, stocked with paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. prior to leaving job site. Works with shop employees to stock units if anything is missing. Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations. Follow SOP(s) in detail as related to specific job at hand. Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations. Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment as required. Sorts assignments and arranges the most efficient route. Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations. Organizes products in reverse delivery order and loads in delivery vehicle. Unloads products at customer location and obtains customer signature on packing slip to show proof of delivery. Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order. Prepares items for delivery to customer. Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer. May assist with restocking of products on shelves. Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license and annual review of driving record.
