Qualifications: A valid driver's license and a clear driving record are required. Experience driving a box truck is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required. A high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years of experience working in a food pantry or food bank; mobile operations experience is preferred but not required. Commitment to helping the communities in need and NYCP's work and mission. Ability to adapt to last-minute schedule changes or emergency coverage needs. Experience working in a warehouse, distribution environment, or food-related operations within a non-profit setting. Food Safety certification from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, community partners, and vendors. Cultural sensitivity and respect when serving diverse communities. Multi-task and work in a highly trafficked area. Weekend work may be necessary for special events and/or occasions.
