This role is vital in ensuring our clients' safe and timely travel between their homes and our facility, fostering their independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities Client Transportation: Safely pick up clients from their residences, make multiple scheduled stops, and transport them to and from the Adult Day Health Care Program. Schedule Adherence: Maintain punctuality to ensure clients arrive at the facility on time and are returned home promptly. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Communication: Liaise with program coordinators regarding any changes in client schedules or transportation needs. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to guarantee the safety of clients during transit. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, client attendance, and any incidents or delays. Qualifications Language Proficiency: Fluency in Russian is required to effectively communicate with clients. Driver's License: Possession of a valid and clean New York State driver's license. Endorsements: Passenger endorsement is a plus. Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, especially within healthcare or eldercare transportation, is advantageous. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with clients. Physical Requirements: Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges, including helping them in and out of the vehicle if necessary.
