Job Summary: Xccelerated Construction Unlimited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class A - CDL Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to transport equipment to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of all materials. In addition to driving, this role involves loading and unloading equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate haul trucks and trailers, including secure loading and off-loading of equipment.
Using basic hand tools as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, fueling, and battery recharging.
Safely transport materials between loading, and work sites by following company guidelines and DOT regulations.
Inspect product loads and secure cargo for transport, ensuring safe and compliant movement to job sites.
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles promptly to supervisors.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, working with the loading crew to ensure proper alignment and secure positioning.
Conduct daily safety inspections on vehicles, equipment, and tools.
Complete all required field paperwork for job locations and DOT compliance.
Maintain and update logbooks, fuel reports, and mileage reports.
Work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, for extended hours.
Assist with disassembling machinery or equipment to remove parts for repair and reassemble them post-inspection or testing.
Properly rig materials to be lifted, following company safety protocols.
Drive company trucks to and from job sites, maintaining housekeeping standards on vehicles and job locations.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel, customers, and third-party vendors at job sites.
Understand and adhere to all XCU Standard Operating Procedures.
Travel will be expected for this position.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating trucks and trailers in a construction or oil and gas environment is preferred.
License: Valid Class A - CDL with clutch endorsement and a clean driving record.
Skills: Familiarity with securing loads, basic hand tools, and routine vehicle maintenance. Experienced in backing up trailers with loads.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, lift heavy materials (80-100 lbs.), and perform physically demanding tasks.

catwalks and base beams, from and to various locations within the work area. This equipment is loaded and
unloaded onto the truck or float with the use of the truck's mechanical winch. All duties of the Winch Truck Driver
are to be performed according to the Company operating procedures in order to maximize the safety of all
personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Winch Truck Driver drives the Winch Truck to the location to unload or load equipment as required
for the job. Mechanically loads or unloads the equipment using a single winch. This position requires the
employee to handle the winching equipment and to manually tie down the loaded equipment using
chains and boomers
Maintain radio or telephone contact with home facility/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or
notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations
Maintain a log of travel and goods in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs
Perform daily inspection of vehicle, ensuring proper function of all safety-related features of the vehicle at
all times, including refueling as needed
Perform and complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with DOT and company policies including,
but not limited to, JSAs, DVIRs, and Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections
Comply with and adhere to all FMCSA rules and regulations including carrying of permits, licenses, and
medical card
This position will require the Winch Truck Driver to maintain accurate work tickets based on the
Company's requirements and the work performed for the customer as well as the ability to maintain
accurate driving log books, pre-trip/ post-trip inspections and maintenance files on the vehicle. This
position is responsible for alerting appropriate supervision when mechanical defects are noted on the
truck as well as alerting supervision when hours worked may exceed
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 21 years old
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Must have a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record
Previous experience in the energy services industry preferred
Ability to meet all DOT requirements
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements
Must be able to travel and cross state lines
Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles safely and work reliably both independently and in a team setting
COMPUTER
