Snow Removal Operator Job Description Our snow equipment operators and drivers are part-time seasonal employees. As an operator, you will be on call and be offered work when it snows. You will report to the designated Production Manager. Your duties will include the following:
Snow Removal of commercial, industrial, institutional, government, and corporate projects
Operation of a plow truck or heavy equipment pursuant to your qualifications
Clear snow from paved parking areas, access roads, loading docks, and similar areas
Utilize equipment in a safe manner
Operate one or more types of heavy equipment and or trucks
Spread salt and deicers utilizing spreaders and similar equipment
Assist the snow removal team in loading and unloading materials and supplies
Fuel and perform basic maintenance on your assigned equipment
Requirements
This job requires a minimum of three years of experience in professional commercial snow removal.
Must have transportation to job sites or assigned branch location
Able to pass a criminal background check
Must pass driver's license screen
Safeguard assets from theft and misuse
Comply with business ethics, applicable laws, and regulations
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

The role of Lead Delivery Driver/Furniture Mover is to ensure the successful operation of local deliveries and pickups in cargo vans and box trucks up to 26ft. These are day trips within a 50 mile radius of Hatfield, PA but not limited to areas of PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE. These deliveries and pickups are scheduled at least a day in advance. When no deliveries or pickups are scheduled, drivers will be working in the showroom moving furniture and organizing the workspaces. Some key tasks include (but not limited to):
The role of Lead Driver is to manage local deliveries and pickups using cargo vans and 20ft - 26ft box trucks. These are day trips mostly within a 50 mile radius of Hatfield, PA but not limited to areas of PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE. These deliveries and pickups are scheduled in advance. When no deliveries or pickups are scheduled, drivers will be working in the showroom moving furniture and organizing the workspaces. This role will also be in charge of leading small teams of movers and supervising their daily assigned tasks. Some key tasks include (but not limited to)
Key Responsibilities:
Be a role model for other Drive/Mover team members, exhibiting excellence in performing the Driver/Mover tasks.
Train and coach other Drive Team members to raise their levels of performance.
Perform all of the needs of the Drive/Moving teams including (but not limited to):
Drive vehicles that deliver and pick up furniture from homes and businesses within a 50 mile radius of Hatfield, PA.
Working as a two [sometimes three] person team to safely perform in-home delivery and in-home pickup of furniture, art, and home goods.

Wrap, pad, and protect furniture to prevent damage during transportation
Report and document all incidents of damage to vehicles, items, or employees immediately

Navigate stairs, narrow hallways, and tight spaces with oversized items
Maintain a clean and organized moving truck and workspace
Deliver exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Ability to receive direction on projects and then work independently
Organize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring that products are stored in an orderly manner.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
