Responsible for pick-up and delivery of many types of equipment to job sites. Some equipment may be large in size. May drive the following: Rack truck, ramp truck, or trailer. RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of heavy equipment to and from project locations in an effective and efficient manner. - May orient the project on the equipment operation. - Make deliveries and pick-ups in a timely manner. - Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads. - Positions blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit. - Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. - May prepare receipts for load picked up. - Safely move and position inventory, supplies, and equipment and determine when load is properly balanced, tied down, and flagged in accordance with company policy, state, and federal regulations - Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to Maintenance Manager and supervisor. - Maintain safety checklist, trip reports, and other required paperwork according to company policy, state, and federal regulations. - May maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. - Maintain excellent customer service skill by interacting in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures. - Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. School Based Transport Driver MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent- To have mature reasoning ability required in this role. Transportation Program Clerical Responsibilities: Prepares any packets for distribution to the appropriate school personnel. Prepares transportation forms for the school based program. Files the transportation records according to protocol. Prepares census/volume reports for the program on the daily basis and any other type of reports as needed by the Assistant SBHC Director. Prepares miscellaneous reports as directed. Delivers and performs pick up of any written materials for the program or the organization and transports any other clients or performs errands needed for the program as directed by the SBHC Clinic Manager. Interacts with school personnel and other community agencies using excellent communications skills. Van Responsibilities: Maintains log of maintenance for the van to include the mechanical key checkpoints. Drives the van to areas for periodic maintenance. Drives the van to service appointments as directed. Indicates issues with van's functional ability in order that maintenance can be planned. Cleans entire inside of van weekly and outside as needed in-order that the appearance of the van remain clean. Reports any variances in performance of the van to the SBHC Clinic Manager for action. Drives the van with exceptional safety at all times. General Performance Standards: Utilizes clinic resources efficiently and effectively. Possesses a sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted office standards. Develops a performance level whereby minimal supervision is needed and seeks assistance when issues arise beyond current knowledge or experience. Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, visitors and team members and adheres to the customer service standards as outlined by the Clinic. Respects the confidentiality of patient information and clinic business and supports the clinic mission and patient rights and responsibilities. Performs job responsibilities in accordance with all clinic policies and procedures. Participates in education opportunities as appropriate which will increase one's ability to perform the job responsibilities effectively. Remains flexible and can be depended upon to modify work schedule as required by the clinic and according to policy. The Heavy-Duty Truck Salesman is responsible for identifying and developing new customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets through strategic outreach, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Essential Duties: • Sells heavy-duty trucks and trailers • Assists customers in selecting/ordering trucks by asking questions and listening to their responses • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the sale of new and used heavy-duty vehicles • Meets or exceeds objectives for new and/or used truck deliveries established by the dealership • Uses all reasonable methods of prospecting for new and used truck customers daily, either by telephone or by making calls to individuals and businesses outside the dealership • Prepares sales report and shares with Sales Manager; listing who was called, what units were quoted, and units available for sale • Provides follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers • Offers service to all walk-in and call-in customers on assigned floor days • Must be proficient in the use of Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) • Must have the ability to work with and manage third party vendor(s) relationships for body and equipment up-fit needs necessary to complete customer vehicles. • Demonstrates new and used trucks to customers (may include test drives) • Closes new and used truck deals • Writes complete and accurate sales orders, secures deposits, and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies • Prepare purchaser statements • Delivering new trucks, explaining new truck warranty and service policies • Attend sales and training meetings • Studies truck and equipment specifications to improve knowledge of product performance and application continually • Appraises used trucks when necessary • Collect accurate and complete financial data on customers when necessary • Maintain a Professional appearance • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: • At least two (2) years of experience in sales, preferably in automotive or industrial sales • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution in either Business Administration or Accounting preferred • Valid Driver's License is Required • Excel experience Required Work Environment: This position may require the employee to drive to other customers' locations for extended periods of time.
