JOB SUMMARY
The Driver Student Transport- utilizes a van to transport students over scheduled routes to and from school and other special excursions; ensures the vehicle of operation is in safe operating condition; and ensures the safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from the van.
Work schedule will generally be 10-20 hours per week on weekdays: 2-4 hours between 6:00 am and 10:00 am and 2-3 hours between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

Prepare documents and reports (e.g., route reports, employee timecards, incident reports, inspection records, passenger misconduct, mileage logs, student counts, routing information, federal, state standards, and district policy reports, etc.) to document activities, providing written support and conveying information
Conduct emergency evacuation drills as mandated by state standards to ensure efficiency of procedures and compliance with mandated requirements
Detail vehicle problems in a clear and concise manner (e.g., vehicle repair request, etc.) to maintain safe driving and operating conditions

This position operates a commercial motor vehicle with a GVW greater than 26,000 lbs with trailers up to 53 feet in length. This position is accountable for the safe and courteous driving, delivery, loading and unloading (including safe forklift operation) of items to facilities in the Intermountain distribution network.
